Using with Surface Pro primarily and it no complaints so far. I have a cover that covers the Touch Cover connector and make the built in kickstand unusable, so the bluetooth connectivity and the stand/case make for a great keyboard. |

Cons: Case/stand is pretty much a gimmick and is VERY heavy to lug around. Keyboard itself is no lightweight, but that attests to its build quality.
Pros: Excellent feel, solid construction, virtually the same size as the "alphabetic side" of a full-sized keyboard. Comment:
Can't imagine a better keyboard for the purpose, but be prepared for the weight penalty. Would have preferred a simple, lightweight sleeve along with or instead of the questionable, heavy case. Haven't played around much with connectivity with my tablet, but will report back if there are any issues. |
I bought this for my Nexus 9 tablet. This keyboard feels very nice and is a joy to type on. The chicklet keys seem to be full-size and have excellent travel with a satisfying clickiness.The keyboard is fairly heavy for its size, at least as heavy as my tablet itself. This leads to a quality feel - the keys feel especially high quality, but there is some flex in the keyboard. Since the keys are full-size, the keyboard is fairly large, about the size of a regular keyboard minus the number pad and the arrow key section (though it should be noted this keyboard does have proper arrow keys). The keyboard's size and weight somewhat hinder the portability, but in return you get a very comfortable typing surface.The case is rather ingenious. It's flocked internally so it presents a soft, protective surface to the keyboard. If you separate the halves, you can pull out a strut which clicks onto the other case side. An extension on this strut holds the tablet. It's a pretty rudimentary stand, but an interesting design. Unfortunately the case is for the keyboard alone so you'll still need a separate case for the tablet. It would have been great to have the case also house the tablet but then it would need to be customized for each tablet.The keyboard connects and works in Android 5.0, Linux Mint 17.1 and Windows 8.1. Oddly I had to try twice for each OS, but I got it connected eventually and once connected, it reconnects with no fuss afterwards.The keyboard feels so comfortable to use that it's well worth the few shortcomings.
