Cons: -Free scrolling wheel is a tab wobbly

Pros: -Build quality-Feel-Software-Battery life-Receiver fits inside of mouse when on the go
Comment:
This is a very good wireless mouse that I would recommend to nearly everyone. I bought it for a laptop I recently purchased and couldn't be happier. This mouse feels really comfortable in my hand and all the buttons are accessible with out becoming a nuisance. The software also makes the buttons highly customizable and will also give you a battery remaining percentage. After a month with the battery it came with and an average of an hour or two of usage every day, my percentage still reads 80%! This wont suit most FPS gamers, I found it tolerable when playing CSS, but it is fine for pretty much every other type of game. All in all a very good mouse with pretty good portability (I would recommend keeping it in a pouch when you travel) and amazing battery life.

Great mouse overall. At first I felt it was too small and uncomfortable.. but got it at a great sale price (35$) got used to it after a while but it took some time. Some issues I came across were:1- The butt cap of the USB receiver fell off and I completely lost it. Still functional however. Might be more susceptible to damage though.2- The silent scrolling feature goes away after about a year of use. Friction builds up in the wheel and is no longer quiet.Overall a great mouse though.

Cons: - wish it came with some kind of travel pouch

Pros: - fits in hand nicely- customizeable wheel, nice response feel- all the buttons you would need- good build quality
Comment:
When it comes to mice and keyboards, I will only buy logitech. I've been disappointed too many times with other vendors that I always return to logitech. This mouse is a beauty. Simple, elegant, and fully featured. Fits in my hand nicely, and overall well designed. Dongle has a little compartment to stow away in the mouse, and the mouse turns on and off when taking the dongle out and putting it in. These little small details streamline the whole experience. Great buy on sale ($43).

Cons: hyper-scroll toggle is on botton of the mouse makes it less usable, prefer MX1100's toggle button. The zoom slider is uncomfortable to use.

Pros: stylish, comfortable, good button feedback/feel, well built, hyper-scroll.
Comment:
Been using this mouse for almost two years, and I have to say its one of the best mice I've ever used. It's stylish, portable yet comfortable enough to be used as a desktop mouse. Lots of buttons that you can customize with SetPoint software.

Cons: range could be better and is sensitive to intervening objects.

Pros: Battery life is MUCH longer than my old Logitech wireless mouse, which used 2 AA batteries.
Comment:
Setup is a snap. Plug in the usb adapter and you're ready to go! I use it with my Media PC on the arm of the chair in my living room and it works perfectly. Battery life is MUCH longer than my old Logitech wireless mouse, which used 2 AA batteries. I'm impressed at the improvements Logitech has made since the first wireless mice they produced. At $43 on special, I was very satisfied with my purchase.

Cons: Free spin scrolling wheel

Pros: Free spin scrolling wheel
Comment:
The one thing i love about this mouse is also its weakness. You can put the mouse wheel in free scrolling mode, where when you spin it it keeps on spinning by itself BUT the wheel is not balanced, so when you stop to scroll and take your finger of the wheel it tends to spin a few steps in either direction making it very very annoying. Nice idea, bad Quality control.

Cons: Scroll wheel sleeps too quickly, search button loses it's setting under Vista 64-bit.

Pros: 2-way scroll wheel, 1-button search, handy location for a zoom button, awesome battery life, nice weight, good solid feel
Comment:
I have owned this mouse now for just over 4 months and I am enjoying it a lot. I switched the battery out (Duracell comes with it) for a lithium battery and it is still showing 100 percent power after 4 months. The only 2 small problems I have with it are:1. The scroll wheel sleeps too quickly. When I am scrolling through a document and pause to read something quickly, the wheel doesn't respond on the first try at scrolling, you have to give it an extra spin to get it moving again.2. The 1-touch search button is a great idea and it works fine under Vista 64-bit, but when you reboot or let the laptop sleep, the Setpoint 4.60.122 software seems to lose it's setting for the search button. All you have to do is go back into the Setpoint software and highlight the one-touch search, then click the select  button. You will see that your original settings are still there, then you click apply and the function returns to normal. Not sure why you should have to do this and I don't see others with my same 2 complaints so it might be just my unit that is having a problem. I'll contact Logitech and see if this is a known issue or if my unit is just a fluke. But even with these 2 flaws I love this mouse. It fits my hand perfectly (size medium gloves). The zoom function works nicely and the button is located just about perfect for me. The free-scroll feature is nice when you need it and the side buttons also work well and are placed nicely too. All in all, I give this mouse a 9/10 and if mine is just a fluky unit then I will see about a replacement. If that one cures my problems then I will upgrade my rating to 9.5/10 because, after all, nothing is "perfect".

Pros: CompactLooks Good
Comment:
I purchased this mouse for $59.99. It works great for basic uses, but when it comes to gaming it's terrible. No matter what I adjust the sensitivity too I just can't game with it. I always end up plugging in a corded mouse and it's just much better.

Pros: wireless, good feel and connection
Comment:
My first ever cordless mouse purchase, bought it for my wife to use with her laptop. She loves it. replaced a cheap wired mouse. Very good feel and responsiveness. Good range. Never have had a problem with the signal yet or any issues. It is a little expensive, even when on sale- I'm a cheap bugger, but with this, you do get what you pay for. Very happy with the purchase.

Cons: -Sometimes jumps suddenly-Looks worse then the revolution

Pros: -Great battery life-USB can go into the mouse-tons of buttons
Comment:
This is a laptop mouse, but it's not that small. I don't use it for my laptop, meaning I use it for my desktop. This way, I don't have to keep recharging batteries. It uses 1 AA battery and has tons of buttons. You can program volume up and down for the zoom buttons (which is really handy)

Cons: Over time, the bearing on the wheel has a tendency to become stiff and wear out

Pros: The free-wheeling of the scroll wheel
Comment:
I've owned one of these for about a year now and it's a great little notebook mouse. I've taken it on every trip I've gone on through work and it's always been able to take the abuse thrown at it. It's a nice fit in my hand. The only issue: after a year of free-wheeling, the wheel has started to lose some of its free wheeling. Not sure how to resolve that. Good buy though if you use a laptop for any extended period of time. Battery life is great (2 months or more usually on a single AA).

Cons: The only weeknesses I can think of it the USB is kinda big. I more prefer the nano but too bad it doesn't have all the feature which this one offer..!!

Pros: Good battery life (I only change the battery once this 6 months and I use it everyday for at least 5 hours), small and easy to carry around, has all short-cut button you need.
Comment:
Logitech produces quality product..!! I strongly recommened. This mouse is small, light and good connection. It meant to be travel with your notebook. It USB store inside of the mouse, unless microsoft the ugly design..... and the battery life is so good.... it last for 4 months before you need to change the battery.

Great mouse, I don't use it for a laptop though (i use it on a desktop). I am a heavy mouse user with games and this hasn't disappointed me. If you get one of these it should outlast 2-3 cheap optical mice.

Cons: I never use the Zoom button, and also the application switch button. Everyone wants to play with your mouse because it scrolls so smooth. Zoom button is kinda sticky/not easy to use anyways.

Pros: Low power consumption (~100 day battery life), great accuracy with laser, nice button layout, comfortable, good to have 2 scroll options, crazy cool USB pop-out function, uses only 1 AA battery. Can turn off the mouse when not in use, displays battery power left on mouse.
Comment:
Bought this mouse for $50, had a rebate too for $20 if I remember correctly. I love this mouse, it's so nice to use, and a pretty good size (not super tiny like some notebook mice), but not a full size mouse either. I have fairly big hands and I don't have any problems with comfort using this mouse. I love the USB pop-out function, so cool. The micro gear is useful, but sometimes in spite of the micro gear, I get some messed up page-jumping with Adobe Acrobat 8. Very annoying. Also for some reason all my class-mates want to play with it, and they spin the mouse-wheel super hard and see how long it will scroll for (a long time), much to my horror, as I watch my awesome mouse get abused and get extra mileage put on it...hopefully you won't have this problem.

This mouse really gives what we can expect from Logitech, a trusted company of peripherals. The shape of the mouse is great, the 2 different scroll options are very useful and it seems really reliable. Even if i dropped it many times on the ground, even on concrete, it still works flawlessly. It is very precise on many types of surfaces and works also well for playing, but its small size can become annoying. After all, this is a great portable mouse.

great mouse and similar to the MX revolution except for the thumbscroll and size. i would prefer the MX adaptive scroll wheel instead of the manual scroll wheel on the VX. I mainly use the VX only when my MX is out of power and charging. great mouse though.

Pros: Excellent laser accuracy. No lag.Battery lasts a long time.Foward and back buttonFree wheel
Comment:
I bought this laptop mouse about 2 months ago and it's great. I am using this mouse with my desktop machine and it is working wonderfully. The laser tracks accurately and there is no lag at all. The mouse runs on one AA battery and it's been going strong for 2 months now (note that I'm not a gamer). When I checked the batter life, it indicated that there were still 120 days left! I use this mouse for surfing the net and for general office type tasks. The free scroll wheel comes in handy for quickly and smoothly scrolling through documents and web pages. Another handy feature on this mouse is the location of the forward and backward buttons (allows you to go to the previous web page). The buttons are located on the upper left position on the lefthand side. I have other mice that have this feature, but the button position on those old mice never made it handy to use. On the vx revolution, I find that I use the buttons daily. I am using this mouse on a Vista box.

Comment:
I really like this mouse. I've used several logitech mice (mx500 510 and 518) and this one is no different in its great design. Its smaller than the corded mice I noted above but contains all the best features of them as well as the rocker scroll wheel, fast scroll, zoom feature and search button of the revolution series. I got this to go with my laptop but I am finding myself using it on my desktop too. The convenience of the receiver fitting into the mouse is nice too, and when its in the power is off (also nice). Great mouse IMO.

Cons: occsionaly the free spinning wheel is touchy when you dont intend to move it

Pros: Size, comfort, many features, especially the free-spinning wheel
Comment:
This mouse is fantastic! It is great as a portable laptop mouse, but has such a great shape and design that I use it all day every day at work (for the past month). It's my first wireless mouse, but I have had no issues with it, and the battery life indicator is handy to let you know when you should have an extra battery around. The buttons all have a nice feel and are very well placed and positive feeling. I am not the type to necessarily buy the most expensive stuff, but for the sale price of $50, this was a great choice. Buy with confidence!
