Perfect burns with both my Sony and LiteOn DVD DL burners. The discs will play on all modern gear perfectly, no matter whether computer system DVD players or stand-alone DVD and Blu-Ray players. A lot more expensive than other brands but I get no coasters with Verbatim. Used another brand (Maxell) that would only burn DVDs that would play in pc DVD-ROM drives. Very good hardware and software makes fantastic media burns. Also, modern day playback gear is significant. For instance, the Verbatim discs I burn run perfectly on my new Vizio Blu-Ray player. On the other hand, on my old xbox 360 and an old HD DVD player, some of the menu products are unreadable, though the disc will play movie or episode just fine. Folks who are receiving undesirable burns with Verbatim DL disc need to look at their burner - far more than like it is causing the problems, or the burning software program - not the media. I adore Verbatim brand DL DVDs due to the fact they tend to have fewer errors per spindle then other brands. My spindle came slightly broken but I didn't assume a lot of it.
