Cons: had to import speaker stands for the rear surround speakers and buy custom hardware (bolts and washers) to hook them up

I previously had a z5500 several years ago and was looking for a new set, and found these. the z509's took me by surprise when i hooked them up and tested them out. sounds was crystal clear, and it sounded like i was in a cineplex theatre watching a movie. if you want to test the true quality of these speakers, watch any of the star wars films on dvd or blue, as they paved the way for dolby digital and thx. |

Bought this system a year ago and I LOVE it. Excellent sound quality in movies, and excellent effects while gaming. I have never had a problem with these speakers. Also, a lot of speaker cable is included. |

very good sound, nice bass. need to include wall mount or at least offer it in north American web site. since they sell them in europe. if you thinking of buying this speaker. go get a sound card. my gaming grade motherboard has a okay sound card, but if you want the best sound come out of these speakers, you need a sound card. |

Coming from the X-540, this set is ages and ages better. It's enough power to shake the whole house, but at the same time there is emphasis put on every part of the frequency band, not just emphasis on bass. The highs are crisp, the mids are bold and the bass is overwhelming. The remote and control unit are very easy to use. Lots of inputs and features you can change to get the best sound. |

Upgraded from the logitech z5300 to the Z906,all i can say is that it was worth the money. The Z906 has LOTS of power, enough to make the walls shake, but also delivers QUALITY sound at the same time. I suggest changing the speaker wires to 16 gauge if you want to see a change in the sound quality, worth the investment. Overall this system is worth every dollar, logitech did it again with this wonderfull 5.1 speaker system. |
