Cons: none yet

Pros: A very smooth warm and natural sound when used for analogue playback.
Comment:
Mac and hackintoh users should note that a rudimentary but functional driver is available for intel macs at audio-evolution. Give the guy a couple bucks for his hard work.

Cons: bad 64bit drivers, bad manufacturer customer support

Pros: no clue, haven't got it working
Comment:
Don't get this card if you are running a 64bit OS. 64bit drivers are crap, and couldn't get it working under Vista Ultimate SP1 64Bit.I also couldn't get it working in Windows XP SP3. There was no sound coming out of the speakers, although in the mixer you could see the levels lighting up.Also, I plugged my Behringer mixer intot he analog inputs, and there was no activity showing on the mixer. The only thing that DID work was the MIDI input to my keyboard. I didn't get a chance to try the SPDIF input / output. Also, my machine started blue screening pretty often after I installed the card, both in Vista and XP.I'd give it one star, but I didn't buy it from NCIX, so no order ID.

Cons: microphone in over RCA connection requires some non-standard connectors

Pros: solid quality - no issues
Comment:
i bought this card for quality sound and also to have something to be able to connect a electronic drum kit to for recording.haven't gotten to that yet, but the general sound quality is great, and so is the configuration software (unlike others, i'm looking at you creative).no complaints real comlaints, although plugging my headset/mic combo in for some gaming is a challenge due to the RCA connections.

Cons: zippo

Pros: A superb card, bought on the spur of the moment.... was so impressed with it I purchased its cousin the Delta 1010
Comment:
a fantastic card with a great audio fidelity..will beat any Creative product hands down. The folks at M -Audio are also great if you need help or have driver issues.Works with my Sonar6 recording software like a charm.Great audio playback on the stereo for full "gaming sound" especially in Battlefield

Cons: None that I can think of

Pros: Incredible sound quality, reasonable price, RCA out, good drivers
Comment:
I bought this card to replace a melted Sound Blaster card (long story!), and it is directly connected to my Arcam / B&W stereo setup via a pair of custom made Cardas RCA interconnects for music playback. It sounds amazing, period. Hands down beats the pants off my Creative card, as well as any other soundcard I've listened to.I've used it for not only music playback, but also for gaming, etc, with no issues at all. I have no experience using this for recordniog purposes, but I have heard nothing but good things from friends regarding that.A rock solid purchase 100%. Cons: None

Pros: Great price, beats any Soundblaster card
Comment:
I bought this because my former card began to have compatibility issues with software. This card works great with all my recording software, from recording to editing to mixing and mastering. Great price for musicians on a budget (all of us) so it won't break your piggy bank. It outperforms any Soundblaster for digital recording. You'll get professional-sounding results without having to pay a professional.

Cons: Configuring it was a tad confusing at first, but now that I've figured it out, I see no weaknesses.

Pros: Excellent price for a semi pro sound card. I paid $112.00Sounds great. I can produce studio quality music, with the right softwareWorks with all games/apps/music playback, so far
Comment:
This is a great sound card, geared for the musician on a budget. You won't find a bad review on the net. Performs better than I expected.

Cons: -The included software (Ableton Live Lite 4) is poor compared to the full version.-Has problems in games. It works with any recent game, but it has to run stuff like surround processing in software mode. If you like to play games on your audio workstation, get 2 cards :)

Pros: -It's hard to find a better sounding card-Low latency, ideal for live music applications (Can easily get 5-8 miliseconds with NO buffer underrun's in both recording and production software)-Able to group multiple cards together.-Works in Mac's and PC's
Comment:
I am a DJ and primarly use this card to record mixtapes. Sound quality is great, and latency is great. If you need a simple card for recording or playing 1 stero source in high quality, this is the card for you.

Cons: Not suitable for gamingHard to configure

Pros: Professional audio quality for a reasonable priceGreat soundcard for semi-pro and serious amateur musicians Basic audio software bundle includedDigital output to home theatre systemsSupports GSIF (GigaStudio format)
Comment:
This is a great soundcard for musicians on a budget. It uses the same digital audio converters as much more expensive cards. If you are serious about your music, then this is a very credible choice, unlike Audigy and other Creative products.

Cons: Too many configurations that are of little use. Confusing GUI and set-up for the "patchbay." Wrong drivers shipped with card.

Pros: Low cost, seemingly many specialized features. Reasonable sound quality for the price.
Comment:
I have had alot of problems with cd audio with this card. There are glitches when playing audio cd's, and with the digital inputs when fed by external cd players spdif outputs. Customer support offered some help, but could not solve the problem. They simply stopped responding to my requests for more help. (Actually this is the second time I have had problems with M-Audio products.) My advice would be to stay with Sound Blaster cards for cards up to $250.00 or so, otherwise save up for the best sounding cards like the Lynx studio-1, RME Hammerfall series or Digital Audio Labs models.

Cons: Some sound glitches in games

Pros: Great quality recording
Comment:
I bought this card to do some sound recording. The quality of the recordings were excellent. The driver installation was simple. The card's software mixer tool has a lot of options for maniputlating the input and output. The midi inputs and outputs work great as well. I used the NCIX price match feature and saved some money. Some games produce some small sound glitches but for those I just switch to my motherboards audio. Overall a great card. Perfect for home PC recording.

Cons: limited I/O.

Pros: a great value for newcommers to audio recording. high resolution sampling and bit depth (24/96).
Comment:
This is a great sound card for those who are interested in home recording. It has exceptional A/D (analog to digital) converters and a great sampleing rate/bit depth (24 bits and 96 khz sampling rate). One limitation is the few inputs available, making multitrack recording limited as well. Again this is a great recording sound card and i would recommend it to anybody not needing to record many tracks at once.
