Cons: Trackpad is not accurate (compared to a mac), multi touch gestures (e.g. scrolling through a document slowly) often screws upCase gets greasyKeyboard doesn't seem to register unless you push hard + bottom outThe key is also located just to the left of the space bar, which i tend to confuse with altThe DVD drive is actually a rumble pack from nintendo 64

I bought this for $680 + tax after the MIR, and am overall impressed. It performs well, for the price. It comes with a ton of bloatware, which needs to be removed (a fresh install with the recovery software WON'T fix this, however).Battery life is good. Keyboard feels nice, but you need to bottom out your keystrokes in order for them to register.Although the case doesn't get finger prints or scratched easily, it seems to look greasy (even with relatively clean hands).Track pad surface is textured - which i'm not used to... Personally, i don't like it, ymmv.Good for gaming (with an external mouse), can run sc2 on med/high at 80fps |

Cons: Sound could be a bit louder.I dislike the small right shift key.A decent amount of bloatware.

I couldn't believe how fast this machine was shipped to me. 2 days after I placed my order it was at my door! I didn't even pay for express shipping. I was shopping for a new laptop for about a month and this one was definitely the best bang for the buck. i5 processor, dedicated graphics (for when diablo 3 comes out) big hard drive and 6 gigs of ram! I can't think of any REAL cons. I have only had it for 2 days but if there are any issues down the line i'll let you all know. |
Very happy with this purchase, picked it up on sale during black friday. Way better than the Dell I was considering previously.
