it's got a nice 1080p display with decent speakers for a laptop. the usb 3.0 is handy, and the other specs make it a pretty snappy machine. also considering this laptop often goes on sale for $900 or more, it's a really solid deal. it's a bit on the heavy side, and the battery life leaves a little to be desired. it's not the best laptop out there, but in terms of bang for your buck, it's pretty good. i've had no problems with it so far.

I've had the MSI GE620 for about four months now, and used it almost every day. The hardware is a nice combination between cpu and gpu and is powerful enough to play most games at lowered resolution and detail. MSI thoughtfully includes a 10GB recovery partition which I have found to be extremely handy. It restores the HDD to factory settings in under 15 minutes, much faster than a reinstall. The battery life isn't great. I usually get around 3-4 hours when web browsing and much less when gaming, but I'm not sure of the time. I've found the keyboard to be questionable. For the most part I have no issues with it, but sometimes it won't recognize a key input. The button on the track pad is fairly stiff, but you get used to it after a while. There is a fair amount of bloatware, but it's nothing that CCleaner can't handle.The trackpad is wonderful! It's a multitouch and has excellent settings for scrolling and web browsing.At the listed $1099 I don't think I'd recommend it, but for $850 to $900, it's a powerful laptop that you can't go wrong with.
