Just got this in the mail. I was a little skeptical at very first about the case structure/integrity, but I've no troubles at all. Employing an ASRock ALIVENF6G-VSTA mobo w/ AMD Athlon 64x2. Fits like a glove! The Blue LED on the rear fan lights up the situation nice n' glowy. Only comes with 1 SATA connector, would advise obtaining a lot more. Excellent get, fantastic price.

Properly laid out (mostly). Removable motherboard tray is good. Energy provide pretty high top quality. Good looking situation; gets lots of oglers at LAN parties. Front deal with is strong and convenient for travel. Good airflow for a situation this size. I have 2 gaming pcs that use this case, and neither of them have any heat difficulties. Metal could be thicker. Area between the PSU and optical drives gets crowded quick. Front air screens pop out quickly. Treat the motherboard tray meticulously, as it is just slightly too straightforward to bend until you get the board mounted. If you want a nice portable LAN box, you will be tricky pressed to discover a much better deal. I'm fairly satisfied with this situation, but it isn't excellent. If you have far more than 1 optical drive, you may possibly want to appear at one thing distinct, as it would be. Also, I would choose if the included PSU was an 80+ effective. This would be a 4 or a five if it was just slightly much less flimsy and there was an option to get without having a PSU.

Light weight Power provide let out all of its magic smoke in 15 minutes. Case is super flimsy and cheaply produced. It's light weight, it looks nice, it's functional, the blue LEDs in the fans make it looks nice, it's aluminum so it conducts heat much better than steel, the audio and usb ports are in the front, it's compact. After I had this case with the included power provide for 15 days, the power provide died. I believed about repairing it myself but just decided to get a superior excellent power provide. Maybe they ought to consist of a much better power provide or not have 1 with the case at all.

Good size and wonderful looks...rear fan is quiet....straightforward to function with given it's modest size. Power provide really should be much more than enough for what you would put in it...you "can" replace it with a common ATX PSU but it had better be modular trigger there's not significantly area for unused cords.... Having problems with the LCD display after a shut down...the backlight comes on but the temps don't. If I unplug the molex connector (while on) and plug it back in the temps show up, and reboots are fine too, just when powered down they don't come back...got a replacement from their brilliant service dept. but it does the same point...they are testing another prior to they send it to me. Their service dept. is Great and quick to respond, send an email in the morning and they respond in the afternoon, twice bow so it wasn't just a fluke. This is my second Apevia case and I would happily advise them to anybody.

well it is what it says, case and power supply particularly low cost, extremely negative style to do something simple you have to take out numerous screws to do so.don't accidentally put pressure on the front vents they will pop in and they are extremely tough to get back into location. must be sold for ฤ case alone or ำ with power supply.

Best size and shape. I like the motherboard tray, temp gauge, deal with, clear sides, excellent ventilation. It's sturdy and very excellent-searching and has surprisingly a lot of space inside if kept tidy. It can simply take all the drive bays and card slots full. Though crammed, it's impressively organized and easy enough to take issues apart to get to hardware. Wish it had a modular power supply to save some space and clutter. Cheap molex connectors on fans and temp gauge energy don't like to snap together or apart nicely. I had some unusual difficulty with static and had to ground the metal manage to the case with a piece of wire. Everytime I had some static charge and touched the metal deal with (touching absolutely nothing but the plastic face) it would shut off the laptop. Guess it was inducing some voltage in the switches and wires nearby. I'm not discounting this any, this challenge in all probability being an exceptional case. Beware of the CPU fan size. I have a Zalman CNPS8700 and it's about as large as it can take. Any bigger, and it touches the ram sticks and upper deck. Stays cool with the Zalman, though.

I like the size of the chassis and the supplied power provide. I did not make a true robust system. Installed an Intel DG33TL board wǘgb ddr2800 and a Intel e6750 2.66ghz processor at 1333mhz fsb. Also set up 500gb hd, dvdrw and geforce 8600gt. The technique cools nicely with the intel heatsink. I like the led fan on the back and the temp lcd on the front. I did like the mb tray made it straightforward to operate with. Newegg shipped it swiftly and it was undamaged. Did not like the reality that there was no tape to fasten the temp sensors but thats minor. Metal is a bit flimsy.

General this is a fairly excellent case. The thermal display seems to function nicely and the stock power supply delivers sufficient power to run everything. It comes with a nice sturdy deal with in front for simple transportation. So if you need to have to bring your computer to distinct areas like me due to a purpose like parents becoming divorced :(, this is a good case. I just unplug every thing, pick it up and go, theres no major straps to put on or lugging a big ATX pc around. This case can also accommodate some impressive hardware (see other thoughts for computer specs). Fans are a small weak, if you're preparing on packing this factor full of power I suggest replacing the two stock fans with fans that move at least a 100CFM's or air, put a VGA cooler/fan in and an HDD fan in as properly. Invest in Excellent thermal grease, don't even bother to attempt to put some after market heat sink in this, it most most likely won't fit. Motherboard tray is also a small flimsy. Looks great. Temp sensors function nicely, as do front connections. Front deal with is actually very sturdy and holds the case well when carrying it. Energy provide died inside 2 months of owning it. The aluminum material that this case is created of is very thin. They could have produced it with thicker aluminum. Due to the fact the material is thin, it's way to easy to strip the threads of any screws with small to no effort. As other individuals have stated, watch out for aluminum particles from the stripped threads. Also, the case doesn't sit square and flexes way too considerably with the lid off. If your video card heatsink/fan has heat pipes, then be ready to have fun attempting to get it to fit. It seems like considering that they altered their name from Aspire Turbo to Apevia, create good quality has went downhill. If this one broke would I purchase one more.... Absolutely not. It's just too cheaply made of a case. I would acquire an additional brand (Thermaltake, AeroCool, Antec, and so on) if your going for a cube case.I had to remove the PSU fan grill to get my video card to fit, and then, it still didn't fit well. If the aluminum material was thicker, this would have been the ultimate cube case.

Bought this case from a nearby shop and promptly returned it after developing the rig...but much more on that below. Pro's:Decent looking for computer in public areaExcellent air flow (compared to comparable instances)Fans are low noiseTemp monitor is special and adds visual appealThumb screw for case Where to commence...Cons:Front audio panel header is ACྜྷ only - This requirements to be remedied instantly as a lot of motherboards do not support this format any longer. Furthermore, this is not mentioned on the case, the manual, the specs page of Newegg or even Apevia's web site. Located a random sight that mentioned it and confirmed with tech support.Power supply is garbage - Could not keep up with Athlonx2 (Windsor) two.7Ghz, 4 gigs, two hdd, 9800gt. Constant crashes in Dragonage, WoW and Lotro. Put in old PS and ran wonderful.HDD activity light DOA.Front panel scratched about buttons.3 sided case cover bends quickly - Probably don't want to be removing this frequently.HDD holder does not put any space between drives and there appears to be enough space to add a few mm's at least. Went with a much more pricey but reliable manufacturer in my encounter (ordered off Newegg) following returning this case. The PS becoming Apevia as nicely has left me disappointed with this manufacturer.

Excellent spacing to fit normal size drives in with the energy provide. The bars and plates in the case have some nice areas to tuck cables away into. Almost everything work nicely. The manual left some items out, and you will need to install issues in a pretty precise order to make confident you can access screws (DVD-rom drives can only be screw-ed in with the challenging-drive cage out), but this is probably a common uATX thing. Overall excellent! Two issues combined to take a star away a star from my rating. 1. The case's front fan is blue, but no LEDs. The pictures don't make that apparent and I thought the LEd was just out until I referred to as Tech Support. I got via to Tech support, but the (he, the person answering the phone said that there was one tech support person) tech support said "Nope, non-led in that position." two. No thermal tape for the temp sensors. That is just cheap. Tech support confirmed this isn't an oversite and suggested "Duct Tape" - I kid you not. 3. As stated previously, the case is a bit hard to manuver back onto the frame. With the three windows you can at least see exactly where you are missing the tracks. The back case lid screws didn't line up effectively either, which was weird. Nearly forgot - the metal of the inside case is soft - be cautious not to strip screws! Overall excellent case although. My 1st uATX build. AMD X2 6000+, BFG 8600GT, LIte-On DVD ROM- all fits good. Manufacturer Response:Actions documenting the correct installation order of internal components can be identified in the User's manual.

It looks fantastic. It's slightly larger than typical mini-boxes, and with that comes space for a second hdd and optical drive. The mobo tray slides out! I enjoy that. I haven't had a case do that since...༿. Cables are well bundled and the ones for the temp LCD are labeled. Fantastic cooling and fairly quiet. I love the handy carry manage on the front. I like the cost. The 1st one I got was certainly dropped at least as soon as. the front plastic faceplate was broken practically entirely off and was badly cracked. The second one was fine, (I RMA'd it) but the box looked like it had been spiral cut. It was shredded, but the product was fine, so I took it. Granted these may just be shipping issues. As for the case itself, it's type of cheaply created. thin metal. flexes effortlessly. Some of the rivets that hold the plexiglass in location are coming loose. I wouldn't purchase 1 again, but I love Newegg. They've usually been fantastic to me and this was the first RMA I had to do with them in 5 or six years of enterprise history with them. It went quite properly. If you're looking for a fantastic top quality case, I would attempt out Rosewill. They make awesome stuff. Just a believed.

This is a nice little case exactly where you can fill it up with your hardware and carry it where you need to have to. Its extremely portable and can be fitted with several capabilities. The 500W PSW is very good also, so far everything functions fine such as the front panel. The only cons about this case is the metal itself, somewhat cheap and you require to be cautious not to strip the screws or scratch the plastic cover. Fits my 8800 GT(barely when installing) amongst a full mobo and accessories, I would advise this case if you want a small energy pc on the go

effectively laid out, properly created, very good construction, as far as i am concerned, i could go on forever. The frontside ports work well (sometimes they are loose on other computers) but these are great!! PSU is great by my account...two sata connectors, 1 PCI power Ɩ-pin) for the PCI Express two. cards. The fans look cool (if this is a concern), the 3 windows appear in on your expansion slots & sata, challenging drive, CPU and Memory, and the psu/cables mess respectively, so i mean...dont anticipate fantastic views, but its pretty cool. 3 items: Very first if it comes with screws, throw them all away and use some random ones you uncover laying about...they will operate superior, i promiseSecond, dont bend the 3-sided outside of your case as it will by no means go back on suitableThird, expect to RMA this case at least as soon as, if not twice. My LCD temperature sensor is broken and flashes ൈ 00" continuously. Also the PSU appears to be a really low-cost model, so i expect that when i get my replacement at the finish of the week, i will have a new dilemma, but that's life.... if you are thinking Micro ATX, go for this case, but watch the super huge video cards and enormous heatsinks as they wont fit.

The case has a good appear and the style is nicely believed out. A lot of room for two tough drives and larger video cards. The blue lighting looks great and is not overly bright. The two fans run quiet - quieter than my Antec Sonata II. Cooling for components is outstanding. My 2.four GHz. AMD Athlon64 3800 processor ran 32 C. idle in my Sonata - it runs 28 C. idle in this smaller all aluminum case. SATA WD2500KS hard drive is also operating 28 C. - down from the 33 C. it ran in my Sonata. The 3 windows provide a fast check of all wiring and components with a pleasing look that catches the eye. Extremely light weight with a spring loaded robust handle for carrying that retracts out of the way. Not a gawdy look, but one that works well with other components. The energy supply is the weak link. I had problems loading Windows I had attributed to drive formatting when very first attempting to load Windows. Four hours later, the supply started to cycle off crashing the technique and ultimately would no longer get started the program. One AM2 Athlon64 3800, one SATA drive, two sticks of Crucial Ballistix RAM, one ASUS Optical SATA drive, and the ASUS M2A-VM HDMI motherboard with on-board video need to not have been too substantially for a 500W power supply that in no way ran warm. When it booted the program, it really should have continued to run fine. At the low cost, I didn't expect the energy supply to be great - but it would have been nice if it had been. I replaced it with the ANTEC HE Neo 550w modular supply as the case accepts standard size supplies. That supply will run a considerably much more heavily loaded program - I know, I borrowed it from my ASUS M2N32-SLI Deluxe wireless method with multiple SATA drives, AM2 Athlon X2 5200 processor, four GB. of RAM, various optical drives, Dual "golden finger" SLI nVidia video cards, PCIe tuner media cards, and the eight fans for cooling that system has. Nonetheless the APEVIA QPACK2 is a great purchase for the price - even if it didn't come with a power supply. Light-weight aluminum will bend simply, but this is still a good case providing uncomplicated access to components and fantastic cooling.

The case looks superior, and there's a lot of room for you parts and cables. Items are placed carefully, so that there's airflow about the tough drive and cool air from the front can flow over the video card, memory and processor all nearly independently. Good case fan in the front and back. Power supply quit on us soon after three days. (Cheap 500-watt) We went and purchased yet another 1 rather than RMA the entire case because the personal computer was all put together and we didn't want to wait for a new 1 to get here just to use our laptop or computer. The two front screen mesh areas on the left and proper side simply break and can not simply be fixed. Accidentally broke one when I wasn't paying attention to exactly where my thumb was for the duration of the install of the new power supply. If you happen to have a poor power supply too; be sure to get 1 that's brief length wise. The replacement we bought just BARELY left sufficient room between the DVD drive and the power supply for the energy supply cables.

Looks nice. I like the temperature sensor on the front. The case manage is OK. It feels like it can support the weight when transporting. Seems like it gives sufficient airflow. Good and quiet. Doesn't offer an 8-pin power connector for my CPU. I can use the 4-pin as stated in the manual, but I'll have to get an adapter if I wanted all 8-pins (which is suggested).....And but they have TWO floppy disk power connectors! WHY?!?!?The case is extremely flimsy. It may possibly be light in weight, but if you have the cover off be really cautious. Things could bend rather effortlessly.I received the case with both case fans messed up. The 120mm rear case fan squeaks and appears to have a wobble. The 80mm front case fan spins, but I noticed it does not light up like it really should and it is leaking ball bearing oil. The sticker has bubbled and is saturated with the leaked oil. I am going to have to replace both fans.I have to take the front panel off to get to the front case fan. The front of the case was difficult to get off. The manual contains an adendum which states the user must release the four clasps. It does not mention the two screws also holding the panel on. It was working....some thing is now causing a brief...not positive what however. It may well be the front fan. We shall see.The PSU has a sticker on it which says PENTIUM IV. The case and PSU also have stickers which say Produced in China. Perhaps I shouldn't be suprised?I may look at other alternatives ahead of purchasing this case...

This case is light! I had a Thermaltake Lanbox Lite, and returned it for this case right after seeing a display and testing its weight. I required something to bring back and forth overseas, and didn't want a laptop with gimped gaming power. I was also actually able to fit a Thermaltake Blue Orb CPU cooler into this factor, and you don't want to be concerned about the length of your video card - it's lengthy enough to take virtually anything (in case anybody is curious, I threw the Zotac 8800GT in here with no issue). Everybody has mentioned how poor the energy supply is, so I'm not going to go into too considerably detail. The very first factor I did was replace it with a modular supply. Due to the fact this case is CRAMPED, you really want each and every final bit of space you can get. The aluminum utilized in this case is super thin. Though this does make the case nice and light, it also bends Really effortlessly. Immediately after putting every little thing in, I wondered why it didn't line up perfectly anymore - turns out there are tiny bends in the case despite my heeding other reviewers' assistance and being additional cautious not to bend anything. The temperature displays look nice, but are entirely pointless. They show the wrong temperature by a few degrees higher - which makes very a bit of difference. Use computer software solutions to monitor your temperature and you'll be fine. Don't panic if the front displays are giving you a high reading! HDD access LED light on the front of the case isn't working, but it's not worth the trouble taking every thing out of this cramped case just to get the LED fixed. There is such a little amount of space between the best five.25" drive bay and the power supply that it's laughable. Save yourself a headache and install your DVD drive into the bottom one. Replace the stock fans as nicely, and plan on spending a day managing the cables on the inside of the case since every thing is so cramped. Manufacturer Response:I can have a functional HDD activity indicator sent to you, no problem. Please get in touch with us. support@apevia.com
