ASUS GeForce GTX 970 Strix OC 1253MHZ 4GB 7.0GHZ GDDR5 2xDVI HDMI DisplayPort PCI-E Video Card
Cons:Not really a con but the Nvidia game enhancing stuff isn't really good so I don't use it.

Pros:Amazing cooling, card's fans don't start spinning until they reach a certain heat (i'm not sure what heat) so it stays silent until you have been playing for a long period of time.Looks awesomeComes with shadowplay which is great for recordingRuns games exceedingly smoothlyOne of the best cards on the market for its priceThe Asus one is pre-overclocked so it is extremely fast
Comment:
Great card, I recommend for anyone and everyone.

ASUS GeForce GTX 970 Strix OC 1253MHZ 4GB 7.0GHZ GDDR5 2xDVI HDMI DisplayPort PCI-E Video Card
Cons:Coil whine on really intensive games (not all cards suffer from this)3.5 Gb of gddr5 at 7ghz while the other 500 Mb of Gddr5 is at 1 ghz

Pros:Very fast cardMax out any game at 1080p and many games at 1440pGood price for the card
Comment:
I have this card running with an i7 4770k oc'ed to 4.4 ghz and man this card is a monster on just about every game I play. The coil whine isn't too much of a problem because I wear a logitech g930 headset when I am using my pc so it blocks out a lot of that whine. Also its a bummer that the card doesn't have a full 4Gb at 7ghz. This is a problem when I am playing a fully heavily skyrim as I sometime surpass that 3.5 Gb mark and my frame rate suffers a little bit. However this card is still really good for the money and I would recommend it to anyone gaming at 1080p and 1440p. If 4k is what you intend with this card, I would recommend you get something with more gddr5.

ASUS GeForce GTX 970 Strix OC 1253MHZ 4GB 7.0GHZ GDDR5 2xDVI HDMI DisplayPort PCI-E Video Card
Cons:Minor coil whine

Pros:Really great performance for the cost
Comment:
Pretty much all of the GTX 970s suffer from coil whine, so this wasn't a huge surprise. But it's there, and in some games it's not very noticeable. In other games, it gets pretty annoying. But besides that, it's a very powerful video card. The cooler is really great too.

ASUS GeForce GTX 970 Strix OC 1253MHZ 4GB 7.0GHZ GDDR5 2xDVI HDMI DisplayPort PCI-E Video Card
Cons:-Loud coil whine in some games

Pros:-Quiet fan-Very fast
Comment:
Paired with an i7-4770k this can run anything adequately. The Evil Within gets 60 fps, and AC: Unity (ver. 1.1.0) sits at mid to high 30's generally; but never dips below 30, even in high crowded areas. The game is poorly optimized right now so this number should go up considerably in future patches. The only issue I have is this card produces alot of coil whine when playing certain games. The Evil Within or Max Payne 3 doesn't produce very much, but games like Skyrim or Bioshock: Infinite will produce alot and it's very distracting. If you are a headphone user or if you sit 7 or 8 feet away from your computer then this shouldn't be an issue (I sit beside my computer at head level).Overall I think this is worth the money. Just be aware of the coil whine issues you may get, especially if you're trying to build a silent PC.

ASUS GeForce GTX 970 Strix OC 1253MHZ 4GB 7.0GHZ GDDR5 2xDVI HDMI DisplayPort PCI-E Video Card
Cons:push lots of heat into system

Pros:quiet, powerful, does not exceed 65C at 100% load
Comment:
First, this card is amazing. It is fast fast fast. I play all games at max setting at 1440p. Be aware that if you use DSR feature it will put heavy burden and you will have to lower the settings. I refer to Dead Rising 3 wich I had to put to medium to use DSR and have steady 60fps. Second, The card is very very quiet. Even at full load it is more quiet than my old asus gtx660. Third, It runs cool!!! does not exceed 65C playing Far Cry 3 at ultra at 1440p. as for the bad things.... yeah it pushes lots of heat into the case. I will need to add a lot of airflow to keep things cool. I had to remove my side panel cause it was killing my cpu stock fan. If you want to disable DSR you will have to go into the nvidia control panel and search through 3d options. Even there it is not clear how to disable it. Should be easily disabled in the geforce experience app like shadowplay and such. finaly , BEWARE if you buy this card you might love it so much you will want to sli it haha . happy buying!

ASUS GeForce GTX 970 Strix OC 1253MHZ 4GB 7.0GHZ GDDR5 2xDVI HDMI DisplayPort PCI-E Video Card
Cons:availability

Pros:pricepowerpower drawnoise
Comment:
first time in my life i pre order computer hardware, but this card was really worth it,-decent price (when it was at $379)-powerful (automatic detection in shadows of mordor jump pretty much everything on ultra at 1920x1200)-silent-power draw is minimal-overclock (did a quick test, power limit 120 core clock +150 without touching core voltage, and it run flawlessly,in game, the core boost at 1428 t° 68°c fan 43% )the only concern i had was about some coil whine report from some users, but mine doesn't have this problem, so for me it's a 5 stars This review was modfied by poster @ 10-28-14 06:57 PM

ASUS GeForce GTX 970 Strix OC 1253MHZ 4GB 7.0GHZ GDDR5 2xDVI HDMI DisplayPort PCI-E Video Card
Cons:could overclock a little more and a bit big

Pros:Quiet and Fast
Comment:
So far so good . I Must say it's the first time I was quick enough to Pre-Order this card and I'm glad I did the cards are really an awesome upgrade to my previous 2x GTX 570 in SLI( I Have 2 of them in SLI Also ) ONLY one card is beast of card for those of you who only play in 1080p my god this card is really Awesome. you can crank everything up and forget about it .. really like the low power use , the silence of the card is also impressive feature . Hope the card works well on the long run . Don't forget I bough this card because the price was also impressive and if it climbs above 410$ then price is really wrong. Need to be careful. also some SLI performance is really wrong titles like Batman Origins ( you should use single card mode and let the second card handle PhysX)the card is new so I let the drivers matures a little bit..but for the time being big thumbs UP..

ASUS GeForce GTX 970 Strix OC 1253MHZ 4GB 7.0GHZ GDDR5 2xDVI HDMI DisplayPort PCI-E Video Card
Cons:only 1 8 pin power connector, so it might be a limit for OCer, im not OCer so i dont mind ita really long card, i'm using the CM Storm Scout 2 case and I have to remove the HDD cage to install it, but then once it is installed you can put the cage back and still be able to use it for HDD :Dit is not exactly as quiet as ASUS advertise it, it is dead silent when the fan aren't spinning, but when it spin, i can hear it, not a big deal (read more below)idle around 53+ Celsius, load around 66 celsius.

Pros:one beautiful beast!rip through any game i throw at itlow power consumption
Comment:
The fan isn't exactly quiet when it hit 40% or higher, but I don't mind the noise cuz i hear headset when gaming anyway, but here is how I see it. Gaming PCs are like cars, fast cars sound loud and furious when it is rev and in a race, gaming PC should behave the same, fans should make enough noise so that you know it is doing it job, but not too loud that it would distract you from ur task (gaming or other things). My conclusion, if you looking for a gtx 970, and not an overclocker, enjoy the quietness, and just want to plug it in and forget about it, then this is the card, NCIX bumped up the price because of the demand for the card, but I expect the price to drop  back once the "gold rush" has passed, I got it for $379.99 so no complain here!

ASUS GeForce GTX 970 Strix OC 1253MHZ 4GB 7.0GHZ GDDR5 2xDVI HDMI DisplayPort PCI-E Video Card
Cons:voltage is locked

Pros:-great overclock out of the box-looks great-slient cooler-doesnt draw a lot of power
Comment:
As stated before, voltages are locked but the card itself is pretty good. squeezed out another 100mhz out of the card myself and its been rock solid so far. definitely a good upgrade from a gtx 670
