So it works, which is nice, but for whatever reason it sees my RAM as 1333 when it is 1600. I've forced it to see the ram at 1600, but when I try to do any OC at all it completely crashes and won't boot. Not so nice.the mousable BIOS is kind of neat, but I go to the advanced bios for most things anyways.I was surprised to find (I hadn't looked) that there are no IDE or Floppy ports. I get the no floppy, but no IDE? Most have one for legacy stuff. Would have made things a little easier, but I suppose we've all got to give up and move along sooner or later.Altogether I am satisfied with this board. |

Dropped an AMD Bulldozer FX-8120 8 Core and after initial setup, this boards ez oc instantly overclocked the cpu to 3.8ghz on air cooling.Great value for how much is loaded into the board. Asus always makes A1 products even when it comes to their value boards.Its only fault is its lack of SLI support and only one fully 16x SLI slot...crossfire only unless you upgrade to the 990 chipset, but this is a an AMD/ATI value board. |

Cons:chipset runs a little hot, extra cooling needed if u have a stock fan
Pros:Nice looking board, came with bios 705(8hexa core support) flawlessly set it up in under 35 min, had no post issues with xms3 ram modules Comment:
I have built about 5 asus computers, 3 for myself and 2 for friends, this is the first time iv had an uneventful setup with asus. I went on the asus fb page about 2 weeks ago and told asus i wouldn't buy from them again if my experience was bad, and bam it was flawless, had no issues with BIOS or memory or CPU, hooked everything up popped in the ram and CPU and video card and tv card and all was good :) |

This is my second Asus board, my P5B is still working great after 5 years, now I'm using an AMD processor.My only issue is the bios boot utility. Two HD's with Win 7 on both, but only recognizing one drive to boot from, no matter what sequence I set. This isn't an usual issue for most, so it shouldn't cost a star.... and it won't.For the price, quality, can't be beat!!! |

Cons:Only 4+1 VRM design but it is a VERY robust VRM and can overclock a Phenom II X6 fine.
Pros:GREAT motherboard for the money. It overclocks well, has no UEFI problems, and has some pretty cool features like USB 3.0. Comment:
