Antec earthwatts EA430 430W Continuous Power Power Supply
Cons:-Not modular

Pros:-QUIET-Efficient
Comment:
When I saw this PSU on sale, I figured it was time to replace the generic 450W model that came with my case. When I got it and set it up (all of 5 minutes), I realized exactly how good this power supply is. The change in noise output is phenomenal! I used to think it was just normal for a computer to make a bunch of noise, but once this new power supply was installed, I was in awe. The only noise I hear from my PC is the hard drive, and even then, it's only when it's accessing information. As mentioned, the only real drawback this power supply has is its lack of modular cabling, but for the price, one cannot complain. I would definitely buy this power supply (or one of its brethren) again.

Very good power supply for the price. You can't go wrong with Antec, good cases and good power supply. Easily installed this, and no problems so far. Also just got the rebate no problem.

Cons:none so far

Pros:Low pricequiet80-plus certified

With a price lower than generic power supplies (after rebate), this is a great deal. Quiet, strong amperage rating (two 12V rails combined for 30A) and 80-plus certified.

Antec earthwatts EA430 430W Continuous Power Power Supply
Cons:-Aesthetics

Pros:-Price-Efficiency
Comment:
Purchased this on sale with a manufacturer's rebate. It's actually replaced a perfectly functioning Antec SmartPower 450W PS but I like the increased efficiency and the implied reduced heat output. The rest of the system includes an Antec 1650B case, Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3 motherboard with Core 2 Duo E6300 CPU, Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro CPU Cooler, 2 x 1GB OCZ Platinum RAM, 500GB Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 SATA HD, 160GB Samsung SATA HD, EVGA 7600 GT PCIE Video Card, Samsung SATA DVD-R/W DL drive, Plextor IDE DVD-R/W drive. The length and number of SATA power connectors was welcome, as was the PCI-E connector. There's not much to say on the downside except that there are no flash / whiz-bang features. The power supply is the typical gun metal grey box and there are no detachable power cords. But, if it just works, stays stable, quiet and energy efficient, that's all I need.I'll be even happier when the rebate cheque arrives. The system runs well, the video card fan seems to be the loudest component.

Antec earthwatts EA430 430W Continuous Power Power Supply
Cons:Un seul connecteur floppy et PCI-E

Pros:Silencieux, efficace energetiquement 80Plus et ATX 2.2
Comment:

Antec earthwatts EA430 430W Continuous Power Power Supply
Cons:runs a little hot

Pros:price, quality, environmentally friendly
Comment:
I bought this to replace a failing power supply and installed it without much difficulty. The build quality seems solid, but not too flashy at all. This power supply has all the necessary connections for a basic mid range PC (pci-e, 4 pin, atx, sata), but it won't have the juice to run SLI or crossfire setups so there is not second pci-e connector.I checked the voltage rails and they all seem to stay in spec even under load. The only complaint I have is that it runs a little hot for a supposedly efficient power supply. The exhaust from this power supply is a bit hotter than that from my antec true power II.All in all a good little power supply that will run your mid range system well. You can't really beat it for the sale price of $30.
