When I 1st received the package it took five days with the egg saver shipping. I take place to delight in the blue tooth and wifi connectivity. It is durable even though it is created of plastic or some sort of polythene compound. With the tv hookup making use of 3.5mm jack to RCA/coaxial you can watch some of the greatest shows, or play games on it using a blue tooth controller. The smoothness of the resistive touch screen is immaculate. I have to say that even though I only have had this small more than two weeks it is a wonderful purchase. I enjoy this item but some downfalls are:No android marketplace(unless you use a hack)It does not use the multi-touch program I do delight in this small PnP, but I wish I would have waited a little longer for the Archos 42. an after thought is that a speaker would be a good addition for the Archos 32.

Outstanding format support.MKVs with dual audio function just fine. All my AVIs also function.MP3s with album art in tag or in folder work (<album title>.jpg appears to function very best from my encounter for non-embedded).Music player is fairly to appear at if you have album art, it's fairly simple to locate stuff, and the side volume controls function even when it's locked with the screen off (with music nonetheless playing of course).Photo viewer appears to be stock android, and fairly good.Video player is pretty good for navigation, has thumbnails, resume, bookmarks, aspect adjustment, subtitle/alternate audio support and also brightness adjust inside the player itself (don't have to leave to change it, just hit menu->brightness).Screen looks pretty very good for its fairly low resolution. Touch control is very superior for the first real touch device I've had. As a bonus, the stylus from my DS works fine.Camera works for scanning barcodes. Haven't tried anything else. Video player doesn't seem to rotate the screen with the orientation of the device. Don't know if there's some setting I'm missing.Face buttons are a little too close to the screen. Hard to tap issues at the edge and not hit them occasionally. Face volume controls also don't seem to be extremely responsive. Would have preferred lowering four buttons to in in between their present location and the volume controls (removing the volume). Can't believe it but it seems too thin. With lack of non-screen/non-button space on front you can't pinch it to hold it and the thinness makes it somewhat difficult to hold casually. Would have preferred a bit thicker like my old mp3 player with extra space employed for a lot more battery.Fingerprints. Never ever used a touchscreen device prior to so I wasn't expecting it really. Slightly higher brightness gets rid of the most noticeable ones though.WiFi seems to not connect extremely well when it's too close to the access point. Works fine farther away.Camera in weird spot. I wouldn't definitely call it an world wide web tablet but it does do properly as a world wide web connected portable media player. Applications are good and it works fairly well as an ebook reader. Receiving the Market took a little bit but it wasn't that difficult. The battery life estimates appear perfectly reasonable. Once more, I would have liked it to be a bit larger with a bigger battery but that's just me worrying about it dying. I also be concerned about my netbook with 8+ hours of battery life so you may well not need to have to pay a lot attention to my worrying.Haven't definitely played with the bluetooth significantly but it appears to be fairly effortless to setup.Screen orientation alterations seem a small slow.Overall the expertise kind of makes me want to be able to install Android on my laptop as nicely.

-Expense-USB connection, no software program needed to add files-android market place-wireless/bluetooth -screen-orientation sensitivity-no SD card slot-camera lens could be in a better location The Archos 32 tablet is a nice little device. The usb attachment was a snap and every single technique that I connected to recognized it as a USB device. On the downside, I found the screen to be touchy, sometimes it would not scroll or it would commence up an app that I didn't want. On the video playback, it will only play in 1 orientation. Speaking of orientation, it doesn't take significantly for the screen to rotate. It is about the same size as an Ipod touch, but for some reason, it feels smaller. Overall it is a great small mp3/video player. If you are looking for internet surfing, I would recommend a larger tablet. I do like the Ipod touch far better, but I will be utilizing this and an additional mp3 and video player.

1)Cost two)Android 1) Appslib - definitely terrible interface and limited applications. Why it does not incorporate Google Apps I do not know. Yes I know there are function arounds, but why need to you have to?two)Constantly freezes up and calls for reformatting. Even Archos tech support didn't know what was wrong.three)The user interface could be superior. The pages do not sort nicely. You can organize them but it would be much easier to use if it utilized a folder format with limited numbers per viewable page.4)Touch screen is ok but rotates too easily and the challenging buttons on the side can be in the way at times. Overall, I am not pleased with my buy. I bought this for my son for Christmas as an intermediate player ahead of he moves into the Ipod line (which I feel they have many limitations too). He's only been able to use it for a couple weeks in over a month due to freezing up. Now I am out 贶 and will probably go buy him an Ipod. Poor selection. I've applied other Archos products just before. Though this looks ok and gives the impression that it is upscale, it is not. Do not devote your dollars on this item. If you want a hobby to continuously have to fool with and upload software and reformat (losing ALL of your apps and music) then this is the piece of junk for you.

It does run pretty well and was enjoyable when could get points to function. Challenging to speed sort, Wifi you have to be so close to the access point or it doesn't function My PC gets full bars where this device can't get 1. The first 1 the on/off button broke in the initial 6 weeks of light use. When I got the new one back the screen broke in two weeks, It is so thin and no protection at all around the edges where it cracked making it not work at all above the break. Referred to as Archos up, We will not sell you a new screen (like just about every other organization) but we will fix it for you for 99 dollars or you can trade it in with 25% off another device. I told them I and accomplished with them, I will be producing a site with photos. I purchased from Sears, I begged my wife thats what I wanted and it was the andriod device I could use... Other screens I seen broken on other kinds of devices doesn't make them quit working and they will sell you a new screen for 10 to 20 online.

Android OS (Froyo 2.2) in all it's stock goodness.Marketplace obtainable with about 10 clicks. No jailbreak required to install apps not on the Market place.Resistive touchscreen performed correct. No software program to install to 'sync' the device (drag-and-drop, straightforward). WiFi receiver is a bit weak compared to other devices. No hardware 'lock' feature on device.Camera resolution low.Slippery? It's a excellent device- forget players that expense twice as significantly just for iOS and a picture of a fruit. The device is created of plastic, but it isn't as flimsy as that would have you believe. It sure is slippery, though- you'll want to keep a firm grasp on it.Though the device has a resistive touchscreen, it works just as you'd anticipate any capacitive one to- working with gloves on for selecting tunes is a nice plus over capacitive. The screen up close looks like it came from a DS- it's got a grid pattern like stated system. The device is slow to resume immediately after getting locked- which you have to do to make certain your music keeps playing and not randomly switch (the downside of a resistive screen) simply because this player has no lock switch on it. It does have volume controls, on the other hand, handy as ever.To sum it up: An individual would seriously think about the Nano for this cost?
