Being a fast touch typist, I was not buying this keyboard for myself, as that would have been a terrible purchase. The keys can be rather sticky and clunky, making fast typing difficult. I bought this keyboard for my elderly parents who have never learned to touch type, and often use the computer at night and are always struggling to "hunt and peck" for keys in dim lighting. Assuming this keyboard stands the test of time, as it appears to be average quality build at best, it was a perfect purchase for them. For the price that it always seems to be on sale at $20 with free shipping, I would give it five stars for the reason that I bought it for. However, as it is not a keyboard that everyone can comfortably use, I can only give it a 4/5. Know what you are buying.

My wife has a bitfenix colossus case and I thought that this would match nicely - which it does - but the keys are flimsy and started to stick after 1 day of use.

Fairly bright colors for use in dark rooms, sturdy construction Comment: I purchased this keyboard for the large format as my eyes are not too good anymore. After using this board for a week, I went back to my old one (because it was programmable) but quickly came back to this one; found it much easier to see. A friend of mine tried this and immediately ordered one for herself.

Keys are spaced too close to each other making it difficult to type (often 2 keys are inadvertently pressed by mistake). Some keys rub against each other making a scratching noise. Pros:Keys light up. Easy to see in the dark. Comment: Generally, this is a lousy keyboard. I was hoping for a little bit more quality on this one. You get what you pay for more often than not. NCIX however, has been excellent! They bent over backwards trying to assisted me. Very impressed with the level of professional support and their commitment to customer care!
