New life for old PC
Comment:
My son purchased a refurbished IBM desktop and recieved a video game for x-mas that required more than PC could handle. Purchased video card and a 450 watt power supply. Install a bit difficult as power supply too big for box. Otherwise works perfectly and games run great with max resolution. Economical way to upgrade and extend the life of a computer.

Good - but POWER
Comment:
I used this to upgrade an old Dell that I am making into a PVR. This card works fine - but, had to upgrade the power supply. This card requires a minimum power supply of 350W.

xtra life 4 old Xp box
Comment:
A bridge chip (Aluminum rectangle) changes AGP slot to PCIexpress, so this WinXp (8 DirectX9c pipelines clocked fast MHz) chip can replace gForce5950 (had AGP etched in). For Vista or 7, you would, of course, get newer Dx10 chip, say a Radeon 2400 or 2600. This cooler barely adaquate.

Good Product for the Value
Comment:
The only problem I had was getting the software to load. This could be a problem with my PC and not so much with the GeForce. In any case, it was a pain and time consuming to find a way to load the software.

Great bang for buck!
Comment:
I had a Geforce 5800 card but my motherboard is a few years old so I needed an AGP graphics upgrade for Second Life. This card is capable of more than my motherboard can deliver (4X bus).It is an 8X card but it stepped down ok and worked fine. Runs warmer than my old card, overheated at first but I put a small fan blowing directly on the card and no more problem. Getting better frame rates now. 60 bucks total with shipping good upgrade for me.

Nice Card, but watch your power supply!
Comment:
Installed easy enough, however, when the box says 'minimum power supply wattage' and in this case 350W, THAT's EXCLUSIVELY FOR THE CARD! My 400W pwr supply died after two hours of casual use. No fault on Tigerdirect, just hard-lessons learned.

I now have 2 of these cards in computers and the first i have had for almost 2 years the second i have had for a little over a week, I am very pleased with it, i used to be strictly an ATI person but I have come to appreciate how well BFG preforms with little to no hasssles with games and software.

Excellent Upgrade
Comment:
For so-called older systems, excellent upgrade, this works with W7U Areo without any problems, out of the box with provided drivers, you may want to update on their site or W7 will do it for you. Rated high on all though how reliablie it is time will tell. Light gaming. Very good AGP card and good ones are hard to come by.

Great So Far
Comment:
Installed this card 3 weeks ago. Followed the instructions and all went smoothly. The CD also had the latest drivers. My son can see leaves falling off the trees in Age of Empires III. It's being used in 5 year old Dell Dimension 8300 that came with a 128 MB card. Vast improvement.

Very good for the money
Comment:
Pros: good value, works good for older games and for watching movies. Cons: a bit loud, and runs quite hot in spite of the loud fan. I did not test new games, but, if you need this card, you probably have and older computer anyway

Best AGP 8x Card Out There
Comment:
My mom and dad needed a new video card for their aging PC after their GeForce 4 card burnt out, and this one is what I picked out. It's not going to be any good for serious gaming nowadays, but for older games or watching videos of all but the largest sizes, you'll have no trouble at all. Also, fan is quiet, so that's a plus.

Exceeded Expectations
Comment:
I have an older system with a socket 754 board and an Athlon 64 3200 CPU with 2 gigs of RAM. I recently installed Win7 32 bit and the Ge Force 6200 Graphics card I had was lacking. My Windows Experience Index for Graphics was 2.9 with the 6200. Now the new Index is 4.4 with this card. Gave new life to an aging system. Highly recommend this card for anyone with an AGP board. Great buy. Gives my 22'' wide screen monitor new punch.

I bought two.
Comment:
I replaced two 128 meg cards with these and notice no great improvement in refresh rates, etc. I am not a gamer and haven't tested them for that. The value is great for the price, especially if you have older architecture requiring AGP cards.

Totally Awesome
Comment:
This card was easy to install and works like it said. I upgraded from a GeForce 5200 and I had games around here I could not play for over a year, but now I can play all my games. Totally Awesome, the graphic's are great, and while playing my games there is no waiting for the 7300gt to catch up. I would recommend it to anyone!!!
