It extends your USB wire. Doesn't get easier than that. Shipping is exorbitant. The shipping ended up costing more than the cables did. The cables themselves work wonderful, but I'll be ordering a diverse set of cables next time I need them. Ones that don't have super-high shipping rates.

I required a flat wire to run below the edge of my carpet. My prior wire was very thick about the plugins, generating a sightly lump. This wire is very flat, and doesnt show. It is precisely what I needed. Properly, I dont assume it could be any less expensive, so lets leave this blank... black wire . . .

Have bought numerous cables from this brand, no troubles. No plastic cover more than teh female end of cable. Has not been a dilemma even with frequent use.

Operates good for Mice, Printers, flash drives, points that don't require no or not much USB power. Just tried 3 of them with my Apricorn external drive. None will give it enough power to get the drive operating. But, connecting the drive to the same port directly with no ext cable it works fine. Wouldn't consider a cable would limit the power but apparently so.

Really improved the sharpness and clarity on my LCD monitor fairly a bit I thought. I was utilizing VGA ahead of, and right after connecting this wire I instantly noticed an improvement in the good quality of my display. I do a lot of art and photography on my Pc and this wire produced performing so a little nicer. None Newegg Rocks!
