What makes a power bar better than others? MORE OUTLETS. Switched to these lower cost units after other home theater (higher cost, different manufacturer) power bars' power switches stopped functioning. An excellent unit. FYI: Cord coming from the plug is 45 degrees offset from the bottom to the right. |

This one is really great. I bought a cheaper one a while ago and the difference between this one and the cheaper are huge. This feels like a quality product, and it works very well. I really like the design too, it allows for bigger bulky adapters to be connected to it and the smaller ones as well. Great product. |

I love the layout - no more wasted receptacles due to oversized plugs. Coax plug is kind of useless, unless you use this unit for a TV setup. I bought this on sale for $20, worth every penny. I like the way that the power switch is tucked away by the power cord --- it makes it nearly impossible to accidentally kick it off with your feet, which was a problem with my old power bar. |

Got two of these and they're pretty awesome. The only issue with this surge protector is that you can't remove the cable holders. Some of my electronics don't have detachable power cables so I couldn't slip them into the holders. |

I already own 2 of these and the number and orientation of connections is what really makes this a good choice for a powerbar/surge protector. I was running out of outlets so I decided to pick up another one. |
I got this model and the SKU 45486 model (same thing expect for 2' longer). If you only need 8' this is perfect, and works great. I use this for my living room (tv/phone/etc) and its been working flawlessly.
