I currently own 3 of these that I use for eyefinity. I have no complaints. Gaming is a joy on eyefinity. Triple desktops are also efficient and multitasking couldn't be better! I also use these in vertical for forum viewing. I recommend this product.

Cons: Not a con for some people, but I would have liked to have had an HDMI option (two display port and one vga).

Pros: Very nice picture.Flat black finish.Low reflective screen (not glossy) Small enough bezel for multiple monitor setup.Landscape or portrait orientation.

Like many I picked up two for a dual display setup. May in the future grab another for some triple monitor gaming!!Very pleased with with all aspects of this monitor; it had every feature I was looking for and at a great price!

Pros: HASAmazing pictureGood viewing angles
Comment:
Got two of them for some peeps at around $170 which is a great deal so I'll base it on that. The Quality of the product is good and so is the viewing angle along with the picture quality.I have a Dell UltraSharp U2311H IPS and love it but it was a bit more expensive that this also. The automatic light level sensor and Eco Sensor can be annoying for some but I know for a fact that others like it.There's a little bit of ghosting but not bad at all IMO and no one plays games on them either. For below $200 this is simply awesome.

Cons: No on board speakers

Pros: Great Ergonomics, Amazing colors, great contrast, Great height adjustment, LED backlit, auto-brightness adjustment
Comment:
This monitor has the best color production I have seen. I got this monitor when it was on sale and wow it’s such a great deal if you can get it for the sale price. VA panel monitors really produce amazing colors. The only flaw with VA is that they have the slowest response time and they have worse viewing angles than IPS counterparts. However, for the price you’re paying for, it’s so much better than a TN panel and you’re paying only a little more. At this price IPS panels can’t beat in contrast and black levels though. The BL2400PU is also awesome for its stand build which allows you to swivel and twist and turn however you want to fit your viewing needs, it also has versatile neck height adjustments which helps for different users. It’s always a plus when your monitor can be adjusted to meet your eye level instead of the other way around. The monitor is also LED backlit which seems pretty popular nowadays. I do have one concern, which is does anyone else think that the colors could be better if it wasn’t LED backlit and instead CCFL? Even though the colors are amazing at the moment, I can’t help but wonder, could it have been better since some people complain LED backlit makes the colors duller.

Cons: Slow response time

Pros: Good price on sale, 8 bit VA panel, 16:9 AR, very bright, great black levels, low power consumption, very light, good connectivity, built in speakers, great stand.
Comment:
Picked one up as my new office monitor. Don't really game there, so response time is not much of an issue. Ive noticed no ghosting when watching movies, thought Im not too sensitive to it in the first place. Love the picture quality and colour reproduction, not using the stand and speakers, but the stand looks great. speakers are probably crap, but good for those who just need basic sound in the office. glad i chose this over a cheap 6 bit e-ips panel :)

Cons: Almost useless speakers

Pros: Height and angle adjustments, wide viewing angle, eye protect
Comment:
This is an excellent panel in its price range. The contrast and deep blacks of this panel make it excellent for watching movies and photo editing. Though the panel does not cover all of the sRGB range due to having LED back lighting, it is worth having the lower power consumption and thinner display. The viewing angle really is extremely wide, though there is a slightly noticeable color shift when moving the view from right to left. While facing the left side of the screen about a metre away for example, looking to the right side would show some noticeable color shifting. The effect is less noticeable vertically. The panel has a matte finish so it is very good at dispersing light and not having annoying reflections. The labels for the OSD buttons are hard to see so it is easy to get confused with which button to press. The movie and photo modes that the monitor provides make the picture look quite unpleasant making it useless, but this may just be personal preference. I usually use sRGB mode for colour sensitive work, and Standard mode with Eye Protect (which senses the brightness of the light around you and adjusts the screen brightness accordingly). I also occasionally use Eco mode. The Eco Sensor, which turns off the screen when it senses that the user has left the computer, is a nice feature, but my current distance seems to sit somewhere between the middle and far sensing ranged, as the middle still doesn't sense me while sitting, but the far range constantly senses the wall behind me. I think it's a bit odd that the display does not offer HDMI input as an option, yet has an audio-in port. But using an HDMI-to-DVI cable works fine for me. Having DisplayPort input is a plus though I don't have a system which uses it.The speakers are very small and are almost unusable. The only use I would think of is if someone had no external speakers. One thing that someone moving from TN to this MVA panel may notice is the ghosting. I find that I don't notice it in movies but it is noticeable in games where there are sharp lines moving quickly. Enabling AMVA does reduce the response time but it seems to vary depending on the colours the pixel is switching from and to.Overall I think that for this price, this is one of the best monitors available. The MVA panel technology puts it ahead of any TN panel and the ergonomics of the monitor are unmatched by even higher priced products.

Cons: Larger BottomSpeakers

Pros: Adjustable StandViewing Angle
Comment:
This is one of the cheapest monitors you'll find that has a truly adjustable stand and a good all-purpose mva panel. Sure, it's not as 'fast' as a tn panel, but when running infinity, Id rather not have my side monitors distorted by the crappy viewing angles of most tn panels. The monitor does need some calibration, but that's to be expected. If you're planning on using a couple of these in portrait, you may want to pass. The bottom of the screen is about an inch larger than the sides and top. This could have been fixed if they'd simple left off the 'eco-sensor' - which you'll want to disable anyways - and they should have simply omitted the crappy speakers. They are worthless and serve no purpose, but to take up space... Overall though, this monitor (when on sale) is the best in its price range if you're looking for a non tn panel.

Cons: USB hub not powered, oddly placed ports. Ajusting "up" is not easily done.

Pros: Widely ajustable, lots of features (USB hub, Display port, speakers), crisp display.
Comment:
Very impressed with this monitor, the colors are rich and picture is crisp. I find the many ajustements a nice touch however the UP ajustement is hard to do as it seems stuck, i have to turn the monitor and firmly grab it to lift it, once unstuck it lifts easily, since nobody seems to have this problem it might be just mine. The usb hub is not powered so forget about power hungry devices, in addition the ports are on the side rather than in front wich is a hassle if the monitor is in a cabinet, but still.I use the monitor mostly for gaming and it is great, no ghosting at all and amazing brightness. Got the monitor for 200$ and would highly recommend it at this price but the regular price is too expensive.

Cons: Unmarked buttons (have to memorize or guess button settings)No HDMI

Pros: Amazing Brightness (compared to TN panels)Pivoting makes cable attachment much less finickyStand allows for good ergonomics for all environmentsLine-In and Headphone jack allow for audio passthrough (makes a great replacement TV)
Comment:
I picked it up for $200 on sale as a multimedia (TV/Movies, gaming) monitor. The few games I've played on this monitor (Alpha Protocol, Assassin's Creed II, STALKER) are bright and vibrant - if there is any ghosting, I'm not noticing it. If you're looking for a balanced and solid upgrade from your cheap TN panel LCD, this is the one.

Cons: no hdminoticable ghosting

Pros: Very brightAwesome picture qualitydisplayport connectionintegrated USB hub
Comment:
The improvement in picture quality compared to a TN-panel LCD monitor is quite apparent. The monitor has a very bothersome auto-brightness function that puts an image right in the middle of the screen for a couple of seconds. Thankfully, it is easily disabled.Unfortunately the drawback of a VA panel, the latency, is very noticeable. Although not very much in games, when scrolling web pages or text documents, you clearly see ghosting. It's a shame, because, otherwise, it would have been an almost perfect monitor.

Cons: - "energy savings" feature

Pros: - integrated USB hub (although, not powered)- crisp display- Display Port compliant- automatic light-level sensor
Comment:
All in all, this has been a great pick up for me. Given, most of my time is spent in Word or Excel, but the resolution and sharpness of this monitor is quite exceptional.I said the "energy savings" feature was a con because even with the sensor set to detect at a maximum distance, it still kept trying to turn off. I guess I sit too far away!! :/Not being much of a gamer, I cant really comment on how it would respond to the titles of today. However, I have been playing Dead Space and this monitor has simply blown me away!!

Cons: Height doesn't adjust very low, USB hub is unpowered, menu buttons are very hard to use, no DVI or displayport cables are included.

Pros: Good price, decent viewing angles, good quality, lots of features, flexible stand, stylish design, included speakers.
Comment:
For the quality of this monitor, the $200 sale price was sweet. It has a great, flexible stand that lets you adjust the height up quite a bit, however it doesn't go down low. In my case it wouldn't lower enough to match the height of another monitor I was using. You can also pivot the display which makes plugging in cables easier, and allows for some special-use cases if you happen to need a really tall display. It has some great connection options, including a hard-to-find DisplayPort which would allow for a true Eyefinity setup, unfortunately you're on your own if you need a DVI or DisplayPort cable. That's just being a bunch of cheap bastards, BenQ... give us a bloody cable! There are lots of bonus features here, but don't expect to be impressed by them. There is a 4-port usb hub located on the right side of the stand, which is a really handy place to have them, but they are unpowered, so you have to be pretty careful about what you plug in there, or you'll overload the ports. The integrated speakers can also be handy for office environments, but don't expect a lot of volume or acoustic fidelity out of them. One complaint I have is that the buttons, which are located underneath the panel, are awkward to use, and the embossed labels are very tiny, and are black on black. It is nearly impossible to see them without shining a bright light on them. I'd almost recommend painting them white with a fine paintbrush so that you can tell which button is which. This becomes important quickly, because there are to features enabled by default that will annoy the hell out of you:One of these features turns off the monitor when you're not in front of it. This can save power if you come and go frequently, and are too lazy to turn off the monitor yourself. However, it often will think you're not there when you *are*, and it takes several seconds to recognize your presence and turn the monitor back on.The other feature flashes a little warning on the screen for five seconds every 20 minutes that is supposed to allow you to rest your eyes. While these features might be welcome by some users, they are probably annoying to most, and shouldn't be enabled by default. It is nice that BenQ is trying something new, however.Overall, this monitor was a great buy for the sale price, and although its bonus features are a bit lackluster, the stand has good ergonomics, and the display looks quite decent.

Cons: Note that it only comes with a VGA cable. You will need to buy a DVI or DisplayPort cable for the very best quality (though the xbox with VGA was still impressive). However BenQ missed a trick with one thing. The monitor stand contains a 4 port USB hub. At first this was a pleasant surprise because I thought I could use it for my keyboard, webcam, charging iPod, flash drives.... but no. The hub is not powered (why not??) so each port is limited to 100mA current. So no webcam (mine needs 500mA), no keyboard (mine needs 300mA), no iPod charging, no high capacity flash drives (1Gb works, but not 4Gb or higher). So I use it with a Bluetooth receiver and wireless mouse receiver but the hub is essentially useless.

Pros: Got this monitor in the weekly sale and it is quite awesome. I use a 24" monitor at work and this is better and half the price. The display is clear and crisp and it works perfectly with both PC and Macintosh. I have my Xbox connected via the VGA connector and it also works perfectly at FullHD 1920x1080p resolution. Tried some FPS games and no problems whatsoever with the refresh rate. Being able to pivot the display is a nice bonus, especially if you surf a lot (a 24" tall screen is quite spectacular. Some nice touches include automatically adjusting the brightness for the surrounding lighting (great for late night gaming).
Comment:
In summary it's a fantastic monitor at a great price with some very nice features. Just don't expect to use the USB hub for anything useful.

Comes with a VGA cable only, which is typical for inexpensive monitors. Since a DVI cable is only $4 it is hardly a big deal, just be aware of it. I bought this monitor for $250 and it is a great value at that price. I have since seen it on sale for $200 which is a steal.I replaced my aging but truly excellent Dell 2405WFP with this monitor as the Dell was beginning to fail. The blacks are better on this monitor and movies look impressive. I don't tend to watch movies on the PC but I do like to view and edit high resolution photos. This monitor is great for that purpose. It is too bad that 1920x1200 monitors have all but disappeared outside the high end market. Outside of movie watching without black bars, I can't see any advantage to the move to 1920x1080.The stand is nice, but not nearly as sturdy as that of the old Dell. The plastic feels cheap.I do not regret my purchase but the less expensive model with the non-adjustable stand is a better value if you don't need the adjustability. It is more attractive and typically $50 cheaper while containing the same panel. Sorry that I can't remember the model number but it was a 24" VA Benq LED LCD.

I got this monitor on sale for $269.99 and it is my first high quality monitor, i went from a 21" Acer non-led non-va monitor. This is the best monitor I've ever gotten. In 1080p movies you can REALLY see the difference between a normal monitor. The colors are very good. The only thing is that people say with an 8ms response time its not ideal for gaming, personally i don't see any difference. The USB ports on the stand are nice, especially for my USB thumb drives. The "light detection" feature is very nice too for at night time and you dont want to have the whole room lit up it will detect the brightness around you and change the screen brightness accordingly. The only bad thing i noticed was when playing Minecraft the 60Hz refresh made the black text on signs drag and made it look odd, i got used to it though.I would give this an 11/10.
