I bought this to replace My 24" Asus monitor. I wanted 27" to play console games, PC games and watch videos.The 2 HDMI and 1 VGA port were enough for my need. I also wanted speakers so that I could keep my desk clean.This monitor is a great looking product, solid build quality and has a good connectivity. The image is great too. Deep dark blacks, shiny whites and a good gaming experience. The flaws are in the setup of the colors, the speakers and the audio output. It took me a while to get all the colors right. Reds tend to be over saturated or washed out and yellows a bit on the green. I am no expert in color setup but I would say that the other screens I owned took me way way less time to setup. The speakers on this are basically useless. To be expected from such a flat screen and due to the size of the speakers, I didn't expect too much. But these were way less than expected. I felt like I was listening to sounds coming from an IPod in a can of soup. The audio output that is used to plug speakers/headphones when you used HDMI connection is the same as the speakers, useless. I connected my headphone directly into my Playstation because the sound was too awful.Overall a great product, good picture quality, good looks, great connectivity. The sound is the major flaw, but hey, its a monitor after all, not an amplifier.Recommend this to anyone seeking good picture quality, especially for video viewing and gaming.
