Again, got it for $200.It's unlikely to find either a 27" or bigger monitor or TV for $200.Picture quality, very good, surprisingly it has a 12 million:1 dynamic contrast ratio, which for a TN panel is rather rare and good.Also, it has 2ms response time, which should be more than sufficient for games.I had two choices when deciding which monitor to purchase, and the other option is BenQ's EW2730 selling for $300 which utilizes a VN panel, and has more HDMI ports and a remote!!!.However, VN panels suffer from slow response timing, so probably not a great choice when it comes to gaming, though providing even higher contrast ratios.In the end, I decided to save $100 and get this GL2750HM instead.No bright spot so far, and looks excellent watching 1080p youtube streams. Can potentially be a TV as well, though no remote can be annoying.Anyway, it cost me $234 after tax and an environmental fee, so I'm fairly satisfied with the purchase.Assuming the $200 price goes on, I definitely recommend this monitor for those who are cost concious.

I use this 95% of the time as a gaming monitor which is the use I bought it for and for which it is designed extremely well. I did not buy it as a multi-media/television screen therefore it's not really fair to downgrade it because it isn't one. If I wanted a screen mostly for that or CAD use, I would have been buying the wrong screen so the fault would have been mine.As a super fast, super bright gaming screen, it is perfect and a real bargain at this price. It came out of the box in excellent condition and has worked perfectly since I plugged it in. As for the speakers, I mean seriously, I have no clue if they even work nor will I ever use them and I would think most people upgrading to a 27" monitor, won't.

Bought this jumbo sized monitor on sale for well under 300 dollars. Overall quite pleased with the purchase. Monitor is bright with good gamma and... large.Poor integrated speakers (low volume, no bass) and no included HDMI cable (VGA cable is included) was expected and not a deal breaker. However, the relatively low resolution for a monitor of this physical size means everything is larger - as opposed to having more desktop space to work with. Quick and easy physical setup. Fast 2ms response time means movies and games play smoothly (and it's so large it's like watching a TV). Recalibrated color using a Spyder Express unit and tones adjusted nicely under Windows 7.Taking away one star in the rating due to relatively low max resolution, but still a recommended purchase - especially if you are visually challenged and want a visually larger display.
