Intel Core 2 Duo E7500 Processor BX80571E7500 got this as part of a barebone kit. put it on a Gigabyte G41M-ES2L MB. used the heat sink that came with it, didn't like how the heat sink secured to the MB. but it works and have no heat issues.

The only problem I have had was my fault because I did not have the fan above it properly seated for the first two days and it ran hot. I appreciate the speed of this processor in an upgrade from a single core hyperthreading 3Ghz. I have no complaints for the price I paid and the product I got.

Biostar G31M7TE Intel G31 Socket 775 Motherboard The 533 memory only works with a FSB 533 1066 cpu. Ex. most Pentium D's are not 533 Mhz. Need to clarify the information on the memory options. The motherboard is excellent but the reseller needs to give correct information.

I Also had purchased the G41 mobo about a month ago and it to was DOA, so I returned it and the second one is working great. Replaced a P4 HT 630 which has a faster internal bus but I really don't notice any difference in my office and cad applications plus this processor runs cooler! I think it's a really good buy.

Before, it would take about a minute to boot up. Now it takes about 20 seconds. My wife has noticed faster speeds and better response with this CPU.

Good thing you can return items to your company without hassle as in this case, too bad you still have to pay for shipping though. Be careful if you are buying a systems with a package of different items from your company. Check the links to see if all components are available. I recently checked and the system (the SLI barebone around $200) is still NOT AVAILABLE!!! But a package is that shows the system combined with memory is!

Intel Core 2 Duo E7500 Processor BX80571E7500 CPU and heatsink work well. The processor is a great deal for the money. Only complain: the strips are useless and rather obstruct heat transfer from the processor. After scraping them off and applying arctic silver the unit worked perfectly.

This board was easy to configure and install and after 10 days, has run flawlessly. Running a Pentium D, 2 GB ram and a 512 MB PCIe Nvidia 9400 with an Antec 450w PS on Vista Home Basic.
