Biostar G31M7TE Intel G31 Socket 775 MotherboardThis is a really great board if your upgrading from the old motherboards that are installed in computers. Hooked all my sata prouducts and it reconized them right away. I have a 2.8 cpu and 4GBs of ram and this motherboard is really fast.

Biostar G31M7TE Intel G31 Socket 775 MotherboardIt was a nice little board for the first two days, then....nothing. Wouldn't even try to boot. I replaced it with an Asus mainboard for $10 more and haven't looked back.

All you really need
Comment:
Biostar G31M7TE Intel G31 Socket 775 MotherboardFor 90% of the world, this board will handle everything you do ( text, photo albums, office apps, web access) just fine. Straightforward install and setup with a good BIOS configuration ability. Why pay more when this is all you really need?

Cheap Board
Comment:
Biostar G31M7TE Intel G31 Socket 775 MotherboardThis board is really cheap. It doesn't even come with mounting screws. After installed, it worked for about 2 months that crashed and burned. I checked my HD, DRAM, CPU, etc. Nothing fixed it. Now I have to send it back to the manufacturer. What a pain. Buy a better brand name is my suggestion. You get what you pay for.

Good budget board
Comment:
Biostar G31M7TE Intel G31 Socket 775 MotherboardGot this board in a bundle with a processor and fan. All worked fine out of the box, but I did get a PCI Express 1 gb graphics card and it was big enough that the first PCI slot was almost covered and unusable. I am on dial up so have to have a modem and I had to take my USB PCI card out as there are only two slots. I would have liked to have seen a screw kit with it too, but the old screws did work since I was replacing a fried board.

Nice motherboard
Comment:
Biostar G31M7TE Intel G31 Socket 775 MotherboardThis board kicks butt. If my friends were to visit my house and say "Wow nice computer. What can it do?" I could say "It kicks rear"- and I would be right- because that's what it does, and that's what it was built to do. In literal terms, it's fast and it has all the features I need. I had no errors installing windows xp or any of my add-ons to this motherboard; I just plugged it in, turned it on, and it works... period. Excellent product. I would buy it again if I needed to.

Biostar G31-M7 TE Motherboard & Intel Pentium Dual Core E5400 Processor Bundle
Comment:
Biostar G31M7TE Intel G31 Socket 775 Motherboardpros: the board itself is pretty good for the price. I placed this in to a mid tower and it fit well. The install went smoothly and everything booted up nicely. It took a while to try and get rid of the post message coming up every boot after the os installation, to this day I still don't know how I did it, but its pretty much gone. Cons: I gave this a 3 because it did not come with any screws. I recall purchasing other board brands that came with its own screws to mount on to the spacers on the case. Luckily the recycled screws were such that it did not damage the board. The board also has such a curved bend that I thought it would be cracked. But it seems to be holding up. This is after installing the stock heatsink of the dual core wolfdale 2.5 ghz processor.

Biostar G31-M7 TE Motherboard & Intel Pentium Dual Core E5400 Processor Bundle
Comment:
Biostar G31M7TE Intel G31 Socket 775 Motherboardoverall a great board for the bucks, if your looking to build a low budget overclocker it works good. north bridge gets a little hot so an aftermarket cooler would not be a bad idea. the only other downside is that if you run an aftermarket graphics card you'll have to choose wisely for a ram cooler. shipped fast thanks tiger direct!
