Brother TN420 Standard Yield Black Toner

I've had many printers in the last decade. Most of them were ink jet and always had trouble eventually with them. Canon, HP...then I got tired of the ink jet. I didn't have the needs to print in colors at home, so I went ahead and bought the cheapest laser mono printer I could get. I got the Brother HL-2280DW. I've had this printer for the past 2 years and a half and I just changed the original toner on it. The original toner, a TN-420, lasted me for 1000 pages. We all know that included toners don't last as long as brand new toners.It is cheap, it prints the text fine for the needs. Best printer I ever had. Everything is a bit plastic, including the toner, but it is OK for my needs and what I paid.I was hesitant to buy Brother few years ago, but I now have no issues recommending them for home use.
