Well these things are great when on sale, for 8 cents, most retail stores sells these for 5 bucks each. Overall great deal when it's on sale, when it's not, well it's still a pretty good deal. Only complaint is that the cable is low density therefore not foldable.

for eight cents, the screws are worth that price. the cable isn't needed for new motherboard, IDE cable is good for the CD-ROM, for hard drive better get ATA133.

good Ide cables for anyone that doesnt care if there rounded. Cheap and easy to install. If you are able to get them on sale I suggest picking up a pair.

This kit comes in handy when installing OEM CD/DVD drives, which sometimes does not come with anything. At $0.09 when this goes on sale, it is very good value.

Bought these on sale for 0.09, which is crazy! Great to have spares around. If your a builder and you buy OEM drives, then this is a must have.

i bout 5 of these for $0.09 each, ontop of another order, for no extra shipping, cant beat the price for the extra cables. only flaw is teh cables are only 40 conductor.

Pretty cool if you're always "patching" family computers and need IDE cables for free (almost). Good buy at 0.09$, not so good at 3$, just wait till the next drop in prices.

I bought 10 of these for 90 cents total! I only needed one for my new DVD burner that I purchased, but what the hey! IDE cable is rather decent quality, the audio cables are sorta useless now, and the screws are always in need.

Being that these were 9 cents I threw a few of them in my order and ended up using the ends on the to attach to old psu fans to use for case cooling.

Catch them on sale! At $0.09 you can't beat the price, but you do pay in terms of quality. In fact, if nothing else, buy 100 packs of these just for the screws. Cables are great in a pinch, but not for full time use. The Audio cable is pretty much obsolete. Music is played through the IDE channel now. (On newer computers. If you still have a P1, you NEED this kit.)

This kit was on sale for 9 cents, and I'm glad I got it because the OEM DVD-ROM did not include screws and cable. Quality is low-end OEM, but the you can't be beat the price.

Everything you need, even the mounting screws. The audio cable is a little short but with digital extraction who needs those things anymore.I picked a few of these up when they were on sale. A great item to keep around for that situation when your Uncle buys a new CD-RW for Billy and wants you to install it, but forgot about the cables.

Needed to replace a damage IDE cable and worked perfectly! What do you have to lose its only 9cents!

I buy a few of these whenever they're on sale. I tend to habitually lose mounting screws so the ones that come with these do an excellent job of replacing them. One thing to note though, the IDE cable should be used only if you are hooking up a single or two cd/dvd-roms. This cable is way too slow for modern hard drives. Using HD-Tach I measured the speed of data transfer while a hard drive was using this cable and to no surprise, it hit a bottleneck and topped out at around 29mb/sec.

Great for the the price, however there is no notch in the ide cable for plugging it in the right way (for things like ide-laptop converters and such)

I ripped out my cd-rom with the audio cable still attached... no wonder it was so hard to pull. Oh well, 9 cents later, problem solved!
