COOLER MASTER RC-690-KKN1-GP Black SECC/ ABS ATX Mid Tower Computer Case - Retail
Cons:Front isnt really sealed to keep dust out (front bays)

Pros:Lots of room to work in and manage cables with.Decent design.Great airflow.Lots of fan options.
Comment:
Case has a lot of room to work inside (compared to my sonata II) and has great airflow. I have taken advantage of the optional 5 120MM fan slots for a total of 7 120MM on the case and temps are 30 celcius idle at the mobo/cpu level.

COOLER MASTER RC-690-KKN1-GP Black SECC/ ABS ATX Mid Tower Computer Case - Retail
Cons:Top and front panels are flimsy and not easy to removeI/O panel location not good for some under-the-desk setupsIncluded fans are really loud

Pros:Lots of fan configurations possibleDecent tool-less setupDust filters
Comment:
I upgraded to this case and a new VGA cooler (Scythe Musashi) because of overheating issues. Lets start with the bad. The front and top panels are pretty flimsy, and are a pain to remove. Several of the pegs on the front panel would not release from the case, and I had to file them down a bit so they would fit through the holes. Removing the top panel was also a bit of a pain because the tab in the back-left corner (looking in from the side) is very hard to reach with a fan and cpu heat sink in place. The cable management system is okay, but the clips used are flimsy and don't hold big or stiff cables too well. Also, the bottom fan mount isn't very useful since the PSU and cables will probably interfere with the installation of a fan there. The 80mm fan mount behind the mobo is also a bit of a waste since 80x15mm fans are pretty scarce, and they don't include one with the case. The I/O panel is located on the top of the case, so if your computer is under your desk it might make plugging/unplugging things a bit of a pain. Also, the included side and rear fans are really loud, and made clicking noises. The front one wasn't as loud or clicking, so maybe it was just a couple bad fans, but be prepared to swap them out.As for the good, the case was roomy, and the tool-less setup made installation quick, though the optical drives don't feel as secure as they should so you might want to use screws. The bottom vent for the psu is nice since it allows you to isolate the psu's airflow from the rest of the case. There are lots of spots to put fans, so you should be able to get air to and from wherever you need to. Any of the cables can be removed from the I/O panel if you don't need certain ports. There are also dust filters on almost every fan mounting point and piece of mesh.As for cooling, the case seems to do a pretty good job. Keeping in mind I also changed to a new cooler for my graphics card, my idle cpu/video temps dropped from 52C and 56C to 46C and 39C respectively, and load temps dropped from 67C and 105C (yeah, 105...) to 56 and 51C respectively. Again, its hard to say how much is due to the case and how much due to the new vga cooler, but the combination of side-ventilation and top-mounted fans probably helped at least a bit. Cons:PSU mounted at bottom, sucking in a lot of dust. I don't like illuminated fans.

Pros:Smart design, plenty of space, can be equipped with plenty of fans + water cooling

===I bought this for a friend when I built his PC===It's the details of this case that make it very unique. The case itself is VERY easy to work with, VERY good cable managment. Lots of clips and stuff that make it look neat... The HDD bay trays are VERY cool. The LED fan is very neato. Overall, A very good case... I wish I bought this Instead of my Antec 900Although I still love my 900 ^^

Cons:-front pannel is a bit tricky to get off

Pros:-quiet-great cooling-great cable managment-lots of room-price
Comment:
The best case i have ever used. I upgraded from an NZXT lexa which was more than twice the price and doesn't even compare to this case. This case is whisper quiet unlike the Lexa, and also has lost of room to work unlike the lexa. Great cable management allows for superior air flow and cooling.

COOLER MASTER RC-690-KKN1-GP Black SECC/ ABS ATX Mid Tower Computer Case - Retail
Cons:Kind of heavy, and there is no speaker for the BIOS beeps included in the case.

Pros:Excellent case, has lots of room, solidly built, 3 large case fans included.
Comment:
Overall, its an excellent case for the price. Its built for a good air-flow in mind, and thats a big plus for gaming builds. I find it a little heavy though. Also I hate the fact there is no speaker for BIOS beeps, specially when booting for the first time, its hard to tell whats wrong. this case is very expandable though, and they made it to that wires are arranged in a certain way without a mess. I love it so far.

Comment:
I love this case. I've used it on my last 4 builds. Great mix of quality, functionality and price. Only complaint is the power/reset button. Don't like the quality of it or it's location, kind of a pain in the ass but for how little it's ever pressed who really cares.

COOLER MASTER RC-690-KKN1-GP Black SECC/ ABS ATX Mid Tower Computer Case - Retail
Cons:Not concurrent with today's requirements concerning HUGE video cards which forced concessions with regards to its cable management feature.Problems with lock mechanisms not working (expansion slots) or too fragile (front & top removable panels) attributed to the quality of materials used and/or design flaws.Poor instructions lacking in detail about specifics, forcing you to improvise and act without certainty.

Pros:Good theoretical air flow; allows up to 7 fans.Decent aesthetics.Inexpensive.
Comment:
Consider the parts you are going to mount it with carefully, especially with regards to the size of the video card you plan to use.

COOLER MASTER RC-690-KKN1-GP Black SECC/ ABS ATX Mid Tower Computer Case - Retail
Cons:Loud(ish) fans, steel, cheap construction

Pros:Price, looks, fans/cooling, PSU mounting location
Comment:
Great case at a fair price. Plenty of fans included and different ways to configure your fan layouts. Plenty of room for cable routing and multiple drives. Construction and build quality are slightly on the cheap side. Fitment of peices aren't exactly perfect. Fan mounting and dust filters are hard to access/clean.

Cons:things in plastic for cable management

Pros:Lot of roomwell ventilatedcable managementcan place lot of fans
Comment:
WOW!Before the 690 I've got a tiny antec case that got no rooms to work with. This case can fit a standart MoBo and there's lot of room spare. Also I've got a 4870 and even if it's a long card, it fit very well. The case also come with 2 fans and u can add a couple more to increase the already good airflow!
