it functions properly, connecting my 2nd sata drive to my HP desktop. sata connection seemed a bit weird when trying to connect it to the drive, but nonetheless it worked and my 2nd drive was detected. i trust the good critiques on here, so that's why I got this. hopefully it will last me until I'm in a position to get a new external to transfer my perform to.

these are neat colored cables that do the job, genuinely inexpensive, cables in my town are 10+ dollars at the local store so this was a steal at a dollar and some change. none, sturdy and work well.

construction is decent. about what I'd expected. They use the heavier gauge of wire. definite plus only wish it was a "Y", so I could conserve on significantly necessary finish plugs. At the cost I bought 2. Couldn't discover them anyplace else, and they're not pricey like the local Major Box electronics shop.

Just what I necessary for an extra SATA drive. None except the shipping cost. There's also a portion with dual SATA power off a single four-pin plug. Would have purchased that had I known about it.

It's a cable. Both ends were connected. Not a lot else to say. Bit short, but worked. If the PCI slot was on the bottom of the tower and the DVD player on the best, it would not have reached.

It works fine A little long Rumer has it older sats devices actually have to have a sata plug and this adapter wont work. Works on all my satta drives and dvd-rws.

It is uncomplicated, the packaging is easy to get through, and it works without having any difficulty whatsoever. For a product with as uncomplicated a purpose as this, it's hard for anything to go wrong. I can not think of any valid cons. If you have a reason to buy this, know that this will function. There isn't much more to it than that when it's just an adapter like this!
