It functions as intended. Packaging was a bear. Pulling the sticks out of the plastic produced me a bit nervous as they had been secured virtually as well well.. I installed this RAM into an Early 2011 Macbook Pro 17. No anxiety tests have been run on the MBP considering that install, but it plays WoW and runs Lightroom without concern.

soo the only pros i can find is that newegg is an amazing website, but this product no pros.... i ordered a pair, got them truly swiftly, one stick on the kit was defected, sent it back to newegg got a replacement, that one was also defected, my laptop completely recognized the ram, but as soon as memory was being allocated to the defected stick i would either blue screen, or crash fully.... not seriously certain what happened crosair, there a very effectively respected company.. but in my opinion remain away from their laptop memory. On the up side, newegg was really skilled about handling the scenario, Preserve UP THE Wonderful Function

8GB of fantastic quality DDR3-1333. Replaced the 2GB of DDR3-1066 that came with my ThinkPad T410. Passed an overnight session of memtest86+ without having a problem.I'm operating Linux, so now I can afford to throw a lot of memory at my VMware machines. :) Price dropped a bit in the weeks following my purchase. That's a pro for the rest of you, though. I'm sick of individuals claiming a "high" tech level and then giving a item a lone egg for tiny to no reason.You had a bluescreen? Did you run a memtest?Did you check Before you purchased the memory to see if it was compatible with your memory controller, and so forth.? If not, then you're the problem, not the memory. Just return it and reside with the shame.

The ram was very easy to install and worked perfectly without any extra configuration needed. My laptop runs perfectly stable and I have had no issues with Corsair products.

It's cheapIt's corsair so it's not junkIt has basic specs which are just fine for most applications that involve sodimms.I would get again only if the price is the best price. (4 stars)I see it now has a MIR, so minus 1 star for that. (4 to 3 stars)

Picked this to upgrade a cheap Windows 7 laptop from 4GB to 8GB, easy to install, zero stability problems, ran MemTest no errors. The only bad thing, $5 mail-in rebate?!? really, why bother? Anyway, even without the rebate the price is still great.

The ram works great in my 2009 macbook pro. I upgraded from 4 gigs and noticed a huge difference in performance. I had a lot of apps open and a lot of tabs open in my browser and was always filling up my ram. Even with 8 gigs i'm often around 60-80% full, so great thing I upgraded!

The ram has increased loading time, mulit-application has not been a problem, I have not ran into any difficulties installing the ram.** The cost can not be beat! NONE NONE

None Ordered this pair with a brand new toshiba t215d-1150. Not compatible at all. The netbook wont begin up at all but all it does is revving up cooling fans. Referred to as both tech support, toshiba tech did not even know the model's compatibility and corsair could not give me any clear answer. When I put the origina hynix 2Gb ram back in the netbook, it worked like its proper outta box. Seems like fantastic ram. it just doesnt perform on mine I guess. Im not gonna entirely abuse the rating considering that no one knows what the deal is.

Got this for my wife's mid-2010 iMac.The situation was a bit different than the previous reviewer, the factory memory was installed in the bottom slots. After struggling with the clamshell packaging that wouldn't let go of the sticks unless it was shredded to tiny pieces, we installed this new memory in the top slots. This was a bit tricky - the key was to press them in quite hard.Sealed it up, turned it on and it immediately booted fine - no beeping.What's great is that we ordered 4 GB of memory in the iMac but actually received 8, so it now has 16 GB and is maxed out!Works perfectly.

Installed on 2011 iMac 27" running Lion. At first when I inserted these two sticks in the empty slots and turned the computer back on it was beeping and wouldn't start. I ended up having to remove the two 2GB sticks from their top position to the bottom. I then installed the new Corsair sticks in the top left and right slots. Computer is running great now and showing 12GB of RAM.

Works fantastic so far. I even left the 2gig elpida memory my laptop came with. Everything runs a lot snappier. No problems so far. The memory isn't on particular anymore. Snagged it when it was at 129.99. Jumped proper back to 149.99.

My computer has 4 slost I made the mistake of not seating one prperly Took morw time then I'm utilized to and finished the project im the morning. price is a small high, maintain in mind iff you fomd s very good cost get it moe we dom't kmowwhat will happeb to japense memory. very good deal but when I boight the two pack their were n bundle packages available. that disappointing was to me.bottom line wouldn't believe of purchasing anywhere else

It is compatible with the Dell E4300 that I purchased them for - no problems at all with boot up or detection. Win7 Enterprise sees and uses all 8GB using it for demoing VMachines to staff and faculty where I work.
