Zero Troubles. Have had my 850TX powering my 875K @ 4.two - GTX 285 rig for 8 months and I just upgraded to a GTX 580 SC and it powers it with EASE. In no way any freezing, lagging or stuttering AT ALL. Not modular. Cables everywhere. I don't assume I'm going to chance working with this 850TX for two GTX 580 SC's in SLI, that would be cutting it Extremely close so I am going to get a five.25' secondary booster bay PSU to power my second GTX 580 SC.

Cheap, nicely packaged. New unit had fan clicking troubles, fan would continuously click no matter what the task Had to pay 15$ to rma a brand new unit that i bought. Hope newegg processes my RMA quickly.

It has plenty of connections, but that can be stated about most supplies. It works, powers my hungry technique so I can't complain. None that I can think of Like cooking eggs, power supplies are something that are hard to make badly.

Excellent power supply. Snatched it up at practically half off with sales and rebate. Replaced a Rosewell 550 with this due to the fact i will be upgrading pc parts soon. Killatwatt meter showed this running about 30W more effectively. Seeing as my computer is on 24ǝ and usually folding, the savings i will receive just from acquiring this power supply will pay for it very easily in the next five years None There are alot of cables on this bad boy. Considering that its not modular you will need a spot to hide them in your case if you care about your wire management!

Uncomplicated to install, has a ton of cables, a lot of far more than I have to have. There are some a lot of cables that it may possibly be effecting my airflow, but that's got much more to do with my cable management abilities than this unit. This is a massive PS, with a large fan on the bottom. It sits at the bottom of my case and the fan blows air out some holes in the bottom. It is quite heavy.

Only worked well for about a week, then started to just power itself off. At times the pc would stay on for a few minutes, other times it would stay on for 12 hours prior to shutting down for no reason. The ฦ.00 it price me to ship the unit back with UPS. Have been shopping Newegg for years and truly appreciate the ease of which we can RMA our items. Glad it doesn't take place really often.

Corsair. 850W. More connectors than you'll ever require. This beauty is currently feeding my new setup--Asus Rampage III Formula, i7-950 3.06GHz, 6GB DDR3 1600, 1TB WD HD, and two Radeon HD 6870s in CrossFireX--without breaking a sweat. It's quiet, it's black, it works. Can't ask for considerably additional from a PSU... ...except modular cables. I know how reliable Corsair's items tend to be, so I was willing to compromise on this. Nonetheless, I feel it's worth subtracting an egg, if only since this thing has a *lot* of cables, half of which go unused.
