Cons:Modular versions would be nice
Pros:works with out a problemgood packeging Comment:
850W...paid 143$...think that says it all.Its still kicking and its quiet. The cabling can become a bit hecktic if you dont have a case that will allow you to have decent cable management. |

Cons:fan gets really loud during gamingexhausts hot air into case
Pros:Large single railnot modulargood quality Comment:
Overall a good, quality powersupply by Corsair. My only complaint is that the fan gets noticeably loud during heavy gaming. Also, the fan seems to dump the hot air into the case which is definitely not a good thing. |

Cons:nonenot modular
Pros:70 ampssilent140mm fan Comment:
I bought this powersupply to replace my old 850watts ocz. I'm more sure with that psu amp. I needed something more powerful because I now use 2x crossfire with 4870. Cables are long and the fan is also bigger 140mm. I would recommend this psu to anybody who wants a stable pwoerfull machine with a lot of amperes. It comes with a 5years warranty so don't be cheap, its an investment. |

Cons:over voltage on 12v rail (12.22v)sleeves
Pros:quietnice big fanbought at good price (109)5 year warrenty Comment:
This PS actually reduced the temps in my case. all the voltages are extremely stable whether its at idle or under load. The only problem with the voltages is that the 12v rail is at 12.22 volts. Also the sleeves dont go all the way to the which doesn't look the greatest, but thats just being picky. |

Cons:nothing
Pros:LooksWiresPower Comment:
Nice power supply, corsair really out did them selves with this. They really made a gamers power supply that allows for optimal wire setup and a sleek look. Its worth every cent in my book, cant go wrong here. I absolutely love how they designed it and the amount of power it gives is great as well as being silent. This is the gamers choice. |

CORSAIR Enthusiast Series CMPSU-850TX 850W Power Supply
Cons:- CABLE MANAGEMENT! Oi, the only downside to this thing is the endless supply of cables that it comes with, which is ironically also one of its strengths. There's a lot of cables, be prepared to .. stuff them away somewhere in your case, there really are a ton.- The yellow logo etc on the PSU itself could clash with certain color schemes.
Pros:- Rock stable- Efficiency is great (80+)- Fan isn't obnoxious- Huge array of various power connections, should be enough to power almost any set-up. Comment:
Corsair makes wonderful products, and this one is no exception, a part of their already well-known line of power supply solutions. Personally, I'm not using this product to its full capacity, but this beast would cruise along to all but the very most demanding situations. A great, affordable alternative to Corsairs HX1000W power supplies, which are overkill for the average user. Highly recommended! |

i use this to power my core i7 (soon to be at 4.X ghz), dual 4890s in crossfire,1tb HDD, etc etc. its very good. i'm personally a fan of the silverstone striders (VERY good brand as well) and this is my first corsair but the striders were just a little too expensive and i knew corsair makes good PSUs (at least in the higher wattages) highly recommended. |

Cons:Runs a little hot (understandably)
Pros:PowerfulStableLooks CoolSolid Build Comment:
Performance of this PSU is great. Although I'm not using it to its maximum potential, it has been very stable. When running heavy applications, the power supply turns into a heater. The underside of my desk is like an oven, but for the power it sustains, it is worth it.Great PSU. |

Cons:lots of wires, hard to bend wires near the connectors (the shrink wrap cleaning up the sheathing makes it very stiff!
Pros:good price, good selection of connectors Comment:
Works flawlessly with an i7 920, 4870 + 4850 + 4850. The air coming out the back wasn't even warm! The non modular design makes hiding spare cables a bit of a chore, but it is lower priced than similar modular designs. |

CORSAIR Enthusiast Series CMPSU-850TX 850W Power Supply
Cons:not modular
Pros:Very efficient, looks good Comment:
This is a great power supply. It's very powerful and should be plenty enough to any gamer using dual GPU setup. The cables are long enough to fits in pretty much any case. Even the haf 932.the only weakness I could find it is not a modular power supply. Still if your case have great cable management you should be able to make them disapear. |

CORSAIR Enthusiast Series CMPSU-850TX 850W Power Supply
Cons:this is a weekness only for new computers that only use sata, this power supply has 8 of the older power connecters for the non-sata hard drives and cd roms takes up a bit of space, also has 2 floppy drive power cables (who needs those anymore)
Pros:850 watts and is 80 plus, silent, lots of cables for everything, Comment:
i bought this to replace my old 500 watt OCZ stealth x tream, this one is awesome, has everything i need, its silent, and even comes wiht an extra padded wall to power supply cord, its excelent and powers my computer efficiantly, i would definatly reccamend this to anyone, especially at the price of $109.00 |

CORSAIR Enthusiast Series CMPSU-850TX 850W Power Supply
Cons:None so far
Pros:Plenty of power, and extra long sleeved cables. Comment:
Got this PSU because I wanted something that had enough oomph to last for a while in my new rig, reviews generally give it a "thumbs up", AND it happened to be on sale at the right time.Several things stand out about this PSU:- The cables are VERY long, and should easily reach their intended target in any case,- Corsair packages their power supplies very nicely, i.e. cables are all sleeved, the whole thing was boxed well, and the PSU has a cool colour scheme,- This item is quite heavy.... my rig was heavy before, but now it's a hernia maker!- Lots of power on the 12V rail,- A 5yr. warranty! CORSAIR Enthusiast Series CMPSU-850TX 850W Power Supply
Cons:none so far...
Pros:Single 70A rail!!! very stable power. 5 year warranty! Comment:
I just love this thing. voltages are dead on. since its a single 70A rail, can safely do 3way SLI. this thing is just incredible for the money. EVGA recommends its little brother, the TX750 for GTX285 SLI. and this thing has 100 more watts. havent heard the fan ramp up as of yet with GTX260 core216 2way SLI, 3.6Ghz i7 920, does get warm tho. but then again thats hardcore gaming.. its got tons of plugs. you really cant go wrong with this thing, i love it and highly recommend it!!! |

Don't listen to the Bah Humbugs!
Comment:
I'm a 30 year tech. I purchased this CorsairTX850 several months ago. I run a top end MSI Diamond MB running 5 hardrives, 4 fans, a DVD, a PCI TV, and 2 EVGA-9800gt's in SLI mode. The 500watt I had before shutdown every time I even threatened to start a game, but this 850watt puppy runs like it doesn't even notice the extra traffic.. The MB will handle a third SLI video card too, and I'm sure this 850watt will comply.. :-) Single rail is the ONLY way to go, and Corsair is a good brand to get there in !!.... |

Cable management took some time, but thanks to corsair they gave me plenty of ties to get my cables in order. Great PSU, very efficient, check out the reviews on the net. It is relatively quiet, runs pretty cool and has plenty of power for my system which I shall hope to run in crossfire soon. |

CORSAIR Enthusiast Series CMPSU-850TX 850W Power Supply
Cons:None perceived
Pros:solid design, lots of connectors, large cooling fan that is quiet as a whisper. Cable ties, case badge and black screws all come in package. Comment:
This is my first Corsair PSU, but research has lead me to a lot of positive reviews.A plethora of connectors for just about any purpose necessary.Packaging was some of the best I've seen.-Plastic bag around the PSU-Velvet-like draw-string bag around the PSU and plastic bagging.-Fitted dense foam inserting to protect the PSU.Corsair provides several cable ties, along with black hardware, and a case badge.I've purchased Thermaltake, OCZ, and PC Power&Cooling PSU's before that didn't provide things like cable ties and a case badge. Although these do not detract from the raw quality of product like PC Power&Cooling, it's a nice after thought to a product that still maintains a high quality. |

Bought this to replace a psu on my folding rig after the old one blew up. So far no complaints, I really like the black bag it came in, might help with kidnappings or something. It does run a little bit warm, but that's fine. It's powering 4x 9600gso's so I don't expect it to be cold. I'm now a Corsair fan, I don't mind paying a bit more for quality.
