Purchased this RAM to augment the 2gb in new machine. Do not know what brand installed in machine but have had not problem with the newly installed memory co-existing with the installed RAM. Great, product, good price and excellent service from (the site), as usual. And, I will continue to recommend TD to my friends and relatives that are computer shopping. The big box stores haven't got a clue when it comes selling computers to anyone with a tiny bit of knowledge about computers. The sales staff treats everyone like they are complete idiots when you try to shop for what you want.

This memory upgrade really made games run faster and at higher fps. Better load time in windows for most apps and better video over the internet. Overall great deal for computers with only a pci slot--mine is a dell dimension310 with a p4 and a geforce 8400 gs video card

I don't normally use this brand, as I am a Kingston fan, but the product worked as expected, and I am getting 100% performance from all 12 modules. A strong recommendation here, noting that you must double check your system to ensure compatibility with this RAM.

To get your system to read 800 MHz with dual channel memory you need TWO modules and with 32 bit systems the computer will not actually be able to use all 4 GB .... I got about 2-1/2 showing with XP and EVGA mobo ...
