CORSAIR XMS3 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 Desktop Memory
Cons:Only 1333 Mhz but it doesn't really affect the system performance

Pros:Price - bought it on the extreme deal of the day for $29.
Comment:
Cheap DDR3 RAM for $29. I should have picked up 2 sets to increase system RAM to 16 GB. Works as it is supposed to and have not come across any issues (BSODS, Memtest errors etc).

Good quality Top quality High quality...it's not a excellent deal if it's not quality. These are not going into a gaming rig...1333 and they run Oh So Cool....Corsair is Quality, even the packaging...Do your analysis and uncover a great deal on excellent components for your rig. ofcourse price matters, but only on top quality long lasting built appropriate parts !!! Not quite difficult just pop them in and reboot...Boringggg lol Price tag of Ram is about the only factor I can see coming down in price tag these days...Glad I waited and bought what I really wanted...Why spend for shop brand, when you can get the actual deal...!!!

Recognized by motherboard. No errors. Wonderful price with rebate. None so far. I am utilizing this in my HTPC I built. Wouldn't have gone with 8GB, but the value with rebate was excellent. I am using this in a Gigabyte GA-880GM-UD2H micro atx board. It recognized the memory with no issues. I have not tried to overclock the memory at all. So far I have not had any troubles with this memory.

Installed in my Dell Vostro 460 (Sandy Bridge i5-2400 / H67 chipset) and this memory works flawlessly. Installed and the Dell BIOS recognized the speed and timings appropriately. 7 passes of MemTest 86+ showed errors and this memory blazes in day-to-day use. One of the DIMMs seems a small thicker than the other and was very tough to seat in the slot. Appropriately seated the memory works perfectly, just odd that it's thicker. With Corsair's lifetime warranty, I'm not worried in the least.

Absolutely nothing. I got both memory modules defective. Give me a bluescreen error. Suggest everybody to test this RAM with memtest+ overnight. It is also difficult to communicate with Corsair for RMA. I have to call various occasions because the RMA status webpage is not working properly. Recommend to acquire a high excellent memory if your time is beneficial simply because memory test takes a lot of time and you will need to test with distinct bios settings. My H67MA-UD2H motherboard could not recognize it as 1333Hz like other people today mention. So you have to set it as XMP profile in bios. As default, my bios recognizes it as 1066Hz memory. Waste a month with this memory!!Newegg consumer service is great and hope to purchase a lot more in the future.

CORSAIR XMS3 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 Desktop Memory
Cons:-could be a little cheaper like maybe 49$

Pros:-fast-cheap-good brand-comes with heat spreaders
Comment:
So far so good with this kit, it was the only thing in stock at coquitlam location for the price and going any lower Id have to settle for Kingston value ram which is not anywhere as good looking as these sticks and the heat spreaders on the xm3 is a plus, Iv heard this ram can run at 1600 MHz w/o changing any timings but I'm not sure I will try it any time soon, would recommend again

CORSAIR XMS3 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 Desktop Memory
Cons:Occasional BSODs but whether it is RAM or motherboard error is uncertain.

Pros:Easy to install and compatible with ASUS P8P67 ProLooks greatVery fast for price
Comment:
I'm not sure if it's due to the RAM or my motherboard (ASUS p8p67 pro) but I have been getting the occasional BSODs from memory-related problems. Nonetheless, I got these sticks for around 30 dollars while they were on sale. Fantastic price for very decent RAM. Haven't tried overclocking them but don't think I need to.

CORSAIR XMS3 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 Desktop Memory
Cons:won't do much over ddr3 1600

Pros:Cheap, Decent overclocking, stable
Comment:
Not sure why people say it is an average overclocker. It does 1600 at stock timing easily. Mind you I use an old p5k3 deluxe MB which is a good board for OC.

Inexpensive-ish. Looks fancy. This RAM's been causing me BSODs for the last month. I thought it was drivers all along but I finally had the opportunity to run Memtest+ for 15 hours and positive sufficient, this RAM was the culprit. I hate having to RMA memory.. it leaves me with absolutely nothing to use in the meanwhile if I have to send it back to Corsair. Considering that it comes in pairs, I might have to send back each modules even although one works fine. Disappointed; I wish I had gone with a various brand or product and saved myself a month worth of headaches.

low cost, ideal expense per gig, when you get a working pair seems to be stable, xms profile 1 auto configures correct timing and voltage, but no superior for overclocking. if you like to gamble this is an ok deal i acquire this memory from newegg, and created the fatal mistake of not testing with memtest86+ from day1. i was having continuous BOD on my technique. i rma 3 various motherboards , purchased two various video cards, and return thsi memory a whopping three times expense on me, i most likely spent 100 dollars in RMA cost and s&H in parts with newegg. all along it was the memory, i received three pairs of poor memory dimms from new egg in a row, it was not until the 4th pair i hit the winning number with 1 pair that passes four full loop test with memtest86+. be aware this memory has a massive rate of failure, what you may save up front you will end up paying in rma cost to newegg. i feel is not newegg fault but critical lack of excellent manage for this item, i just which newegg had a far better return policy when returning DOA items. we all come here for superior offers. but this memory is the worst deal breaker out there. I have never ever knowledge this rate of failure with any other IT product. in the last 15 years working in the industry
