Plugged it in and away I went. It's great for connecting HD equipment to your TV or for connecting your HD capable notebook or desktop to your HDTV as a monitor. My wife and I will sometimes hook up our notebook to the TV to watch Netflix, works great.

When I bought my first HDTV I bought only the $100 monster cables, and they are great cables. But in buying my 2nd HDTV a month ago I spent far less for cables this time & the quality they deliver is just as good as my $100 cables. I have only had them a month so we will see how they hold up but i expect them to be fine.

The cable itself worked fine. The TV set however didn't report its size to the video driver in Linux so I wasn't able to use the hdtv as a monitor after all. (some of the image was offscreen). But I am using an Acer x163w flat panel lcd with the new computer and it works great.

Why pay though the nose at the BIG BOX stores when you can buy here and get a BETTER value. This HDMI cable is equal to any of the others that want you to pay $50 to $80 for their HDMI cables. WHY??? These are great and work perfect on my 42'' SONY Bravia 1080p HD LCD tv with satellite cable or off air local tv channels in HD. GREAT VALUE GREAT DEAL!!!
