I bought this DVI digital cable to work with a video card and monitor I also bought from tigerdirect. I wanted to have dual monitor displays. One monitor TV/PC VGA. This cable worked with no problems.

I decided to go digital since the monitor had a digital input and I installed a video card at the same time. Can't really say if the improvement was due to the fact that the new card can handle the recommended screen size, the cable, or the change from VGA to digital. I watched some TV shows on it and it looked good.

The cable works fine. Of course I would have preferred that the monitor I bought came with a DVI cable, but it did not. So I had to buy the cable, and now have a spare analog cable.

I got this so I could link my 5 yr old Sony LCD TV to my last generation MacBook Pro. Sony has all sorts of proprietary cable connections so I was pumped to see that this cord works w/ both the TV and Laptop without any other converters.

Its a relatively simple cable that simply does its job well. I have it hooked up to an ultrabright Dell LCD monitor and the picture is much better than compared to what it was before over VGA

This is the DVI cable to get if you buy most any LCD monitor here, and are looking to plug it into any DVI-capable Apple Mac OS X computer. There are 5 different types of DVI monitor connections, and Apple's machines, especially the Mac Mini, tend to have the DVI-I Dual Link port (although I'm not sure if all pins are active on all machines). This cable, since it's the DVI-D Dual Link has all the right pins to connect the monitor to the Mac. I would highly recommend, if you buy a new LCD monitor, that you also add one of these cables to the order, and take advantage of that digital connection that your computer has!
