Bought this kit for a new build had an extra IDE cable that I did not need but it was still cheaper than just buying two cables Great deal they cables work really well The only reason I gave it a 4 instead of a 5 on quality is because the pull tabs are just paper labels so the first thing was to take them off

Frees up space in the case and allows easier access to components. Don't expect any real temperature change. I didn't.

I had the for about a year and no problems. I've installed thenm with ease, no errors. For the troubled user make sure the ribbon are fully seated on the IDE controllers.

Helps the air moving around in the computers that I build.Would be better if the connectors were Marked in red on the edge. Better than the flat connectors.

You save space but it is also stiff where you can get to much tension on the part it connects to. The flaired cover is loose, need to be fastened.

This product is nothing spectacular, but they work flawlessly, and look a lot better than those big floppy gray ribbons. The rubber boots at each connection just kind of sit there, and they can slip off, if you don't snug them up, but again, they work flawlessly, and look better than the usual gray floppy ribbons.

I expected more for the price. Nothing impressive. The product description makes me laugh. They make it sound like you're buying a Ferarri, but it's just a mid-quality rounded IDE cable. The labels are big, annoying, and only necessary if you have no idea what you're doing, or have bad eyes. The sleeves for the connections slide off... so, they don't really do anything. The wires at the IDE Slave connector seem poorly assembled. All in all, it does what it says it does. I just wish I went with the cheaper rounded cables from Ultra. Should have paid 9.99 for these, not 18.97.

Pretty good product, easy to install and does the job. However, the cables are a bit wider then I thought they might be, and they are not very flexible, so it's a bit difficult to tuck the excess length anywhere. It's like having an unbreakable hot-dog inside your case. But besides that, it works fine. I would recommend for a lower-mid budget system, not really for a high-performance comp

I have purchased 5 of these kits and not one failed on me. In fact, in all 5 computers that I have replaced the ide cables on has increased when it came to stability and performance, not mentioning better airlow which is critical on most compaqs or other ''minitowers''. I would most definately recommend this product

What can I say they do the job as planned. I got these to replace the cables on an Old HP. Opened the box replaced the cables fired it up and everything worked as expected. I say definetly worth the money.
