I got the camera while it was on sale for right around the $90 mark.The Canon PowerShot A470 is very simple to use with a very mild learning curve. You will be shooting great pics in minutes! It's great for either a starter camera or a second (back up), and it's tough! :) |

Picked this up on sale for my parents who were looking for a cheap and simple digital camera. This is the third Canon digital camera I've purchased and I've always been satisfied with the build quality and point-and-shoot simplicity. After a few cameras with proprietary (i.e. expensive) batteries, I was looking for one that took standard AAs. This is a good cheap camera for anyone who is looking for something simple, or for a second camera to keep handy. |
Nice little starter camera, or for a back up. We bought it for a second camera that would be easier to carry then our big Canon, when hiking and biking. The battery lasts a long time too, and it has a great zoom
