Can not use 4gb
Comment:
Installed 2 sticks for a total of 4gb on a gigabyte MB but Linux and windows only use something under 3gb not sure why. No problems with memory but if I had it to do over I would only put in 2gb of memory

Good at first, but quit working after a week
Comment:
This seemed to work great for about a week, but one of the two sticks I bought suddenly stopped working for no known reason. I promptly sent it back following their return procedures, but they dont send out the new one until they get the old one back, so I am a sitting duck for about 2 weeks in the mean time.

Works, but performs a bit less...
Comment:
I have a stick of this in a pc I built to keep the kids off of mine, (Ha ha.), and it does work properly, however, I don't feel like I'm getting the same performance from it as I am from the higher grade memory I use in my p.c.. It does do the job and I'm pleased with my purchase.

Comment:
NOt the highest performance chip, but for the price a good value. Using two of these on a Gigabyte board running 64 bit Linux with no issues.

I admit that I never heard of the company before now. But I consider it a great value for building a new system. Works like a charm... and does the job.

Centon 2048MB PC6400 DDR2 800MHz Memory
Comment:
Overall, good memory for the price. With 2GB-4GB being the standard, you can't beat the $25 price tag. Works great right out of the box using stock specs. Haven't tried overclocking yet...

Centon 2048MB PC6400 DDR2 800MHz Memory
Comment:
Bought two of these for my new build. Works well with XFX mobo, Intel quad proc., & Vista Ult. 64 bit. Only complaint is these are very pricey. Dual channel DDR2 are cheaper, but my system doesn't support dual. 5 stars for everything except value/price.

Centon 2048MB PC6400 DDR2 800MHz Memory
Comment:
Works great with my Asus M3A. 2 sticks, both in the yellow banks for 4G. Not sure if the board will take 4 sticks without switching to dual channel memory.
