I bought this item from this company about a year ago. It was originally bought for holding movies to watch on trips. Worked fine for that. It was on my keychain for about 3-4 months for holding files, most of the time with the cap missing. Worked fine for that too. It is now holding all of my mp3's and is permenantly in my car. Overall, it is a great drive that has held up well. The review below that states that this drive isn't Windows 7 compatible was obviously written by someone who doesn't know how to properly use this product. I transfered all of my mp3's to this drive from a Windows 7 machine. It works fine.

You get what you pay for and this was really cheap. Although the 3rd time I used it I had tons of corrupt data on it. Luckily it wasn't very critical and I had all the data backed up elsewhere.

I purchased one of these drives about 3 months ago. I could have purchased a 16gb for less money but I wanted one that was reliable so I went with the this brand. Well a month later, it just crapped out and I couldnt access any of my data. Ofcourse I had a 20 page document on it I had been working on and lost it. When I contacted the company, I had to do it twice because the first time, they didnt return my e-mail..I knew there policy was they were not responsible for data loss but I asked them nicely to atleast check and see if they could pull anything off it and or what went wrong. well they sent me no response at all,no thank you, kiss my A--,sorry for your luck, not a thing. I did get a replacement about a week later but the company seamed like they couldnt care less about me, the customer ..Ill never buy from this company again.just my 2 cents worth.

Bought 12 of these to be used in our business as part of a BCP DRP kit. Loaded a VMware image on them to be deployed upon declaration. (not running from the key, just to copy to the desktop and run) . Very slow copy times and CRC error on 4 of the 12. Didn't keep packaging and Centon's RMA process is crap! You get what you pay for in this case!

I've had many problems with this drive and whats worst is I find out it runs on a FAT32...so if you're always on the go and you want to transfer files quick, then you don't want to use this.

This has to be the slowest drive I have ever seen. It was not a very good deal to begin with really but was cheap enough I bought it. Slow doesn't even begin to describe it. Trying to run any portable applications from this stick is a nightmare. And don't expect any file transfers anytime soon either.

Do this USB Flash Drive as a built-in security function. can you setup a password before anyone can access data from the flash drive.

I thought I was getting a good deal. Now I know it is better to buy a better brand and pay a little more. After only having the flash drive for two weeks, it crashed and I lost all of my files. There wasn't even a lot that I had saved on it. Thankfully, most of the files were backed up some place else, but I still lost the most recent saves.

First plugin, i noticed that there is only 15Gb available and not the full 16 i payed for. the price is a bit on the high side on my opinion. transfer speed is ok not the best but not the worst.

Worked good and fast.. while it lasted. The metal or metal composite case came loose after about 2 weeks and was very annoying to keep pushing back on the unit. Finally, during transferring some files to it, it computer acted as if the unit had been unplugged. The light was off and it never worked again. I'm doubting I got over 10 to 15 hours of actual use from it.

this has a lot of captivity. i love it i just wish it came with a keyring thing or a lanyard or something.

I would store 8 to 9 GB on it then it would not take another 4 GB of video files....so I sold it because it sucked

A little slow on the data transfer, but otherwise holds what it said it would - Not fast enough to use as a drive and it does not have any security to speak of like other USB drives come with. Great backup device for documents and general files.
