Cons:Flimsy metal around IO plate and PCI slots.

I'm pleasantly surprised at this case. While the metal quality is a bit on the cheap end, whereas I usually only work with solid steel, if you install things carefully, it's actually quite nice. Has plastic feet, nice power buttons, shiny surface texture on front bezel and fan port for CPU. The include fan is only 8cm but hey, throw in a couple yoons and bam you have a nice cooling solution, over the hard drives even. |

I bought 2 of these when they were on sale for 27$.I'm surprised with the overall quality and features of the cases, for that price it was worth it.The picture is misleading, they are black.see it here:http://reviews.cimplicit.net/Compucase_6C28B/The 5.25" Flip-Lids are good, they won't get stuck. But their button doesn't always press the right spot on the Drive. But I think it will work for most if not all new CD/DVD drives. |
I have used 3 of these for budget builds and one more is on its way, and for the price this is an excellent case. The motherboard backplate is made of thin material but is not a big deal. It also has raised bumps on panel instead of using motherboard standoffs, they supply two with it for boards with more holes. It has a stand off for alinging mb which is nice for such an inexpensive case. I was suprised also with the supplied exaust fan, 80mm mounted to 120mm adapter which is very quiet. So for budget builds this is a great choice.
