The power adapter worked fine on a Gateway for a friend. Although several of the plugs worked, I don't know which is the right one. There are several choices. I guess as long as one works fine, then use it. |

This was purchased to replace the PSU on a Polycom teleconferencing unit. The Polycom-branded one was going to be well over $100, so I purchased this one not knowing for sure if it would work, thinking it would be good for a laptop if it didn't work. Lo and behold, it had a tip that fit perfectly, and the Polycom powers up normally.I also tested it on my work Dell Latitude D630, but as expected, it would only power the device, not charge the battery. |

Cons:I have tried this adapter on several Dell and Hp and it doesnt charge the battery.

I have purchased a couple of these adaptors and they do work but i found that they dont charge. At first I thought it would only happen with the Dell model but I sent one to a Client in Alberta and it doesnt charge her HP either however it works fine running on a/c. Great shipping thanks NCIX |

Cons:Universal on everything but Dell Inspiron laptops. Will power it, but not charge it. Its a dell thing, not the power adapters fault, typical for H..Dell.

I wish I had more to say, it is a good and well built power adapter, however this was for my brother in law's laptop he bought from WalFart before I knew him, and it will run the Dell, but at a reduced rate, and will not charge a battery. Will only dock it a star for not supporting EVERYTHING lol. If I were to need another after market adapter, there is no reason why I would not buy this again. |
I purchased this to replace my stock laptop charger and this has been a worthy buy. It stays pretty cool, and cant believe how small it is compared to my old one. I would recommend this charger to anyone.
