Cons:Software does not save my setting for mouse speed

Pros:Responsivelooks and feelUp to 5600DPI
Comment:
I've had this mouse for about a month now, replaced my old generic mouse and wow what a differance. This thing is fast and responsive. Not sure if its me or what but the included software does not save my mouse speed setting. Other then that great price for a great mouse. Love the color settings.

Coolermaster Sentinel Advance Twin Laser Gaming Mouse 8 Buttons 5600DPI USB with Adjustable Lighting
Cons: Need a mousepad

Pros: Best bang for your buck if your looking for a gaming mouseReally long braided cable
Comment:
Having owned and extensively used several high end gaming mice, im happy to say this one is fantastic for half the cost of some others. I've had nothing but trouble with wireless so-called gaming mice, so researched corded gaming mice, and I believe correctly chose this mouse. Its obvious they did their homework, the cable is VERY long to accomodate a typical gamers setup, comes with an extra set of stick-on pads for when they wear out, the weight system is great, the onboard memory to save settings and case lock make it perfect for LAN gamers. Im definitely happy with this mouse.

Cons: Terrible Mac tracking

Pros: Quick selection of DPI mode, excellent fit
Comment:
On the PC, I love this mouse - great, fast tracking and a nice fit for my XL hands. The Mac is another story - even with no other USB devices attached, the mouse tracking is jumpy and terrible. Wouldn't recommend for Mac users.

Coolermaster Sentinel Advance Twin Laser Gaming Mouse 8 Buttons 5600DPI USB with Adjustable Lighting
Cons: Didn't exist twenty years ago when I started playing games ;)

Pros: Absolutely beautiful, very customizable, has a screen, cord covered in a braided nylon material instead of cheap rubber, very accurate, comes with free replacement pads.
Comment:
I needed to replace my aging Logitech MX518 (great mouse btw). Always loved CM cases, so I decided to give this a shot. WOW. This mouse is incredible. So smooth and precise, I find I have to adjust my own habits while mousing to reap the benefits of this pointer's capabilities. Now a mere flick of the wrist has me killing enemies in record time or adding items to my NCIX.com shopping cart before I have the money to pay for them, haha. The ergonomics of this mouse are a perfect fit for my medium-sized hand. None of the buttons get in the way of my fingers as I rest them on the surface. From the screen shots, I had worried that the two side-by-side DPI adjustment buttons would be a nuisance, but far from it. Perfection! It even has headlights 8) The overall feel of this mouse amazes me. It is solid and smooth. Does not give me that flimsy feeling some off-brand mice have in the past. Also, something every mouse should have included: FREE replacement pads for the bottom of the mouse. How brilliant is that? The Sentinel software is a major plus as well. Any option you could imagine is here for you to explore. Beautifully executed. I simply cannot say enough good things about this mouse. Thank you CoolerMaster and thank you NCIX.

Coolermaster Sentinel Advance Twin Laser Gaming Mouse 8 Buttons 5600DPI USB with Adjustable Lighting
Cons: -OS (XP & Win7)slower to recognize mouse when using a KVM (keyboard/video/mouse) switch-right hand only ergonomics-no tilt feature on scroll wheel

Pros: -5600 DPI twin laser sensor!-OLED display-large PTFE pads-totally customizable via excellent mouse app- =< 1 MS USB polling time-customizable weight system-braided cord (reduces friction)-excellent ergonomics (right)-LED colours indicate which profile is selected
Comment:
This mouse puts together nearly all the wants of a gamer; customizable buttons/macros/scripts, high speed polling, real time distance measurement, very high res sensor, ergonomic layout/shape, adjustable weighting, OLED display and bling (lighting)!I was surprised to see such a product from CoolerMaster who I always perceived as a lower end manufacturer of HSF units. However this company has made huge leaps in all areas it seems which now includes gaming mice! They have taken the time to create  a mouse that has nearly all the features a gamer could want and bring it to market for a great price (currently ~$45 CND). Logitechs' new G9 mouse just can't complete on features and especially price (~$120 CND)! There is not such a beast as the "best gaming mouse" simply because different people have varying preferences however this mouse should appeal to the vast majority.I really like the organic LED display which allows you to directly change the DPI setting. Also there is 64K of memory to store the configurations so you don't need a driver app running in the background. Small details such as including a replacement set of PTFE (akk Teflon) pads and a mouse cord locking plate show the attention to detail that the designers made. The weaknesses are really insignificant unless you are left handed however my son is such and has always used a right handed mouse placement. A tilt scroll wheel is something I have on other mice but never use and the last point regarding keyboard/video/mouse switch response - that is a wee bit annoying however your experience may be different with a different brand of KVM (if you even use one for that matter!)

Cons: A bit too small

Pros: A lot of featureGreat valueGreat price
Comment:
It has almost every feature I want. It has high DPI, adjustable weights, several on-the-fly profiles. One thing I can fault is it's a bit small. I have average size hand. Still, it's one of the best mouse for price/feature.

Cons: Not really a weakness, but the lighting is very flashy

Pros: Great value gaming mouse, excellent precision and feels great

I bought this on sale for $35. Prior to this, I have been playing online games with a crappy optical mouse. And what a difference it has been. At this price, it sure feels like one of those $100+ gaming mouse!

Coolermaster Sentinel Advance Twin Laser Gaming Mouse 8 Buttons 5600DPI USB with Adjustable Lighting
Cons: The bottom of the mouse isn't a smooth surface which causes it to catch on certain surfaces.

Pros: The mouse is very comfortable to use. Allows for turning off of LEDs. The customization in the included software is pretty simple to use.
Comment:
Overall, the mouse is great. I changed to this mouse from my Razer copperhead which was a bit of a change as that mouse was an ambidextrous one as well as being much lighter. However, it was easy getting used to the sentinel. The biggest problem I've had with the mouse is that compared to the copperhead, the bottom of the sentinel isn't completely smooth which causes it to catch on surfaces like the mousepad I have (a cloth one). The sentinel seems designed for a hard surface as my desk works much better than the mousepad.

Cons: thumb buttons are not as comfortablly located, as your thumb sits lower on the mouse but the buttons are a bit higher.would have been nice to have another button on the left click like the new cm inferno mousemouse is huge compared to normal mice and for med sized hands my fingers sit toward the bottom of the buttons.

Pros: Great quality and buildExtra mouse slidersSlot Card that holds mouse wire
Comment:
overal this mouse is worth the price as it well built and designed, if you have small hands you should think about getting another mouse as this is mouse designed for big hands.

Coolermaster Sentinel Advance Twin Laser Gaming Mouse 8 Buttons 5600DPI USB with Adjustable Lighting
Cons: -A little light on the extras-Rubber coating on the left/right buttons would be better that the matte plastic(but at least there not glossy, M6880 I'm looking at you.)

Pros: -Comfortable, Feels well constructed-Slick looking software interface-Very nice tracking-Not asking 60+ dollars for the thing
Comment:
Love it. Upgraded from my gigabyte m6880 so i can have that one for my notebook. Paired it up with a Saitek cyborg keyboard for ultimate excessive flashiness. "Everyday is Christmas on my desk!". Aside from all that; the mouse has great responsive feel to it, a couple hours with some classic FPS and RTS games assured me of that. The Software looks very cool and seems to have a lot customization options; though i only briefly looked it over. The only extras you get with this is a pci bracket that you are supposed to wrap you mouse cord(which is nicely braided btw) around to prevent theft. A great idea but i will likely never use it. Would have preferred a case for the mouse or weights; maybe a sticker? At this price however I can certainly overlook the lack of accessories and give the CM Storm Sentinel my full recommendation. Coolermaster Sentinel Advance Twin Laser Gaming Mouse 8 Buttons 5600DPI USB with Adjustable Lighting
Cons: The side buttons a bit off place for the thump

Pros: I bought this to replace a Microsoft Habu (made by Razer)that was not aging very well, the mat coating on the button was peeling off and giving the look of finger grease accumulation
Comment:
I don't know why people are saying that if you have small hand it will not work for you....well, i have small hand and its a lot more comfortable then the HABU, and it works very well for office and gaming task. It looks really good and it's easy to setup.i had a little compatibility problem with my hold Thermaltake mouse pad, it had some worn dull spots and the mouse laser had problem with that....but it's working directly on the desk, piece of paper, on the skin, on the cat's back, so you can say that it can work on any surface but a worn out TT mouse pad, i bought a Razer Destructor pad and it looks good and work great This review was modfied by poster @ 08-02-10 04:38 AM

Coolermaster Sentinel Advance Twin Laser Gaming Mouse 8 Buttons 5600DPI USB with Adjustable Lighting
Cons: Firmware might need an update  (really easy)A couple issues with drifting (read below)

Pros: Comfortable and CustomizablePriced wellLooks great (better than the pictures)
Comment:
The ability to customize colour and weight, with on-the-fly DPI buttons, makes this a great mouse for any user. The hand sits perfectly on the mouse and is comfortable when both palming and clawing. The side buttons are high enough that they don't get in the way when holding the mouse, but still accessible enough when needed. The mouse performs well at both low and high DPIs and is great for gamers and digital media enthusiasts.I had a couple issues with cursor drifting, but with a firmware update  and using MarkC's Windows 7 mouse acceleration fix, most problems have been alleviated (use google to find it). According to the CM Storm forums, firmware 1.4 is soon to be released that will help with drifting even more. The software for creating macros and scripts is a little confusing and limited. The rest is great, especially the first page. Since the mouse is plug and play, once you set your settings, they remain on the mouse (even between computers) and doesn't require any special software to use.I would recommend this to anyone who wants a great mouse for a great price.

Coolermaster Sentinel Advance Twin Laser Gaming Mouse 8 Buttons 5600DPI USB with Adjustable Lighting
Cons: -Mouse wheel (middle button) seems a tad flimsy-Don't buy if you have small hands (not really a weakness for me... I have fair-sized paws so this is one of the most comfortable mice I have ever used)

Pros: -Incredibly fast + precise-AMAZING mouse for the price-Selectable colored LED's, on-screen DPI display makes it a very cool-looking mouse-Adjustable on-the-fly DPI is a big advantage in FPS-Woven cable is awesome
Comment:
I'm using this with a Razer Goliathus speed edition mouse pad that I got for 15 bucks... The two make an excellent combination and I get the same performance of a more expensive Logitech G series or Razer mouse for at least half the price.I was a Logitech fanboy for a long time but Coolermaster has really won me over with with this mouse. Also love their cases and of course the Hyper 212 HSF :)Giving it 5 stars, hands-down. Way to go Coolermaster!

Coolermaster Sentinel Advance Twin Laser Gaming Mouse 8 Buttons 5600DPI USB with Adjustable Lighting
Cons: -Sadly it makes my hand sweat-For people that have small hands look elsewhere

Pros: -PRICE!-Weight adjustment-6 customizable Profiles-Cool LED lights in tons of colors-Profile switch key-Lots of buttons
Comment:
I love this mouse and it works great for gamers like me. I mainly use this mouse for Bad Company2 and it works great for it, the side keys enable me to chat via Teamspeak very easily. It has a nice braided cable that avoids being tangled and is a good length. The different profile features are very handy when you can switch between long range sniping and close quarters with one click. The only problem I have with it is it makes my hands sweat very easily but my hands sweat easily so this may not be a factor for others. The price for this mouse seemed too good to be true but it was and it is an excellent quality product that I would buy over any Logitech or Razer mouse. I can't believe all the features this mouse has for this price. This mouse proves that your only paying for the brand name most of the time.

Coolermaster Sentinel Advance Twin Laser Gaming Mouse 8 Buttons 5600DPI USB with Adjustable Lighting
Cons: - software for customizing settings is a little difficult to use.

Pros: - 5600 dpi is a lot of dpi- mouse feels very smooth- ability to change colors- ability to cahnge between 4 dpi settings with the touch of a button is very convenient for gaming.- mouse looks sweet- removable weights are nice.
Comment:
Overall it is a very nice mouse. It is my first mouse after using dollar store mice, so the mouse may seem more golden to me than to a seasoned high-performance mouse user. The mouse feels very nice and I "feel" a lot more comfortable gaming with it. The most useful feature for me is being able to swap between the 4 dpi settings.

Comment:
overall, it is a really good mouse...but it might be a little big for some people (not me, cause i got considerably big hands)the program feature is really nice, and i'd say it is better than the Razer Lachesis just because of the DPI (also, razer lachesis feels weird in my hands...)this is a really cool mouse, but there is one issue that is bothering me: the side of the mouse, where my ring finger rests, keeps on scratching my ring finger... might need to take sometime getting used to... Again, a really good mouse, would definitely recommend it to other people.

Coolermaster Sentinel Advance Twin Laser Gaming Mouse 8 Buttons 5600DPI USB with Adjustable Lighting
Cons: Bulky, too much palm space.Doesn't register some directions very well.

Pros: able to switch dpi with one button.
Comment:
I was using a logitech mx500 before. It broke after a couple years. This Mouse has a much larger palm compared to the mx510. The buttons used to change the dpi settings and the led color would be better used for something else. The dpi is supposed to be higher, but I see no accuracy improvement at all. The sensitivity goes wild, yes, but not more accurate. The MX500 had 800 dpi and I was able to aim at peoples heads much more accurately. Although my main concern is that it doesn't register some movements I do, such as going down and to the right slowly. It's very annoying.I'd take it back, but then I'd have to pay a restocking fee.

Pros: PriceComfortable in my handCustomizable DPI (on the fly)Ability to turn LED on (with choice of 8 colours) or off
Comment:
This is a great mouse that really is the bang for the buck. Before, I was looking at the Logitech G500, then this mouse came up on the sales page. I figured that this mouse has a slightly higher DPI than the G500 AND it was cheaper too, so I went with this one. This mouse certainly didn't disappoint. The mouse fired up when I plugged it in. The fabric cord is a plus; it looks neat. However, my pinky finger is off the right click button; it will take some time for myself to get accustomed to it. Overall, I highly recommend this mouse for a guy who wants the goods without breaking the bank.
