With its pre-filled water cooling solution the corsair h100i provide an excellent built quality and the Corsair Link software enables you to monitor system temperatures and adjust fan speeds and the colour of the RGB LED that lights up the CPU block's Corsair logo.

Corsair Cooling Hydro Series H100I CPU Cooler System LGA1155 1156 1366 2011 AM2 AM3 FM1 & FM2
Cons:1. noisy, quite noisy.2. stock fan can be better and should be better for a $120 cooler.3. manual should be better.

Pros:1. top mount flat radiator2. cutomizable led light on pump/heatstick3. great cooling performance.4. link sw to monitor temp/fan speed, and more mode to choose for fan control
Comment:
I bought h100i to replace h20 920. Don't get me wrong, h2o 920 has done a great job, only problem I have is, h2o 920’s thick sandwich like radiator took too much space and it blocks the view of mob underneath. H100i top mount flat radiator does solve the problem. Unfortunately my case doesn’t have enough space to mount a pair of pull fans.I have i7 3770K overclocked to 4.2ghz. I replaced h2o 920 stock fans with a pair cougar vortex quiet and powerful fans. My 920 keeped cpu temp under 40c when idle by normal mode, when busy, if I use extreme fan mode, it blows heat away instantly and low temp down quickly. Comparing to that, h100i keeps temp under 40c when idle too, by balance mode. Performan mode does slight better. H100i extreme mode gives loud noise, slightly better than 920 stock fan in extreme mode. But lower temp not fast as 920 does. Matter of noise, h100i is noisier than 920 at quiet/balanced mode. I tried to use same cougar vortex fan to replace h100i fan, it doesn’t help much to cool down cpu, it also doesn’t help lower noise. Main source of noise of h100i is the pump itself.Installation wise, h100i is better than 920. 920 back plate requires a stupid sticker as cushion. H100i back plate is neat. But h100i manual is not self explained when mount back plate. I was so surprised to see the backplate is loose and a lot room to play even screw fully down. And there are people use homedepot washer to secure it. Lucky HD closed early in Sun, so I couldn’t buy washer, but I did cool down from frustration. I figured the back and front plate are like a clamp. When you put front plate on and secure the thumb screw, the front plate will actually pull the back plate a bit. So when front plate in place, back place is fully secured as well, no room to play any more. But h100i manual doesn’t say a word.Software between h100i and 920 is up to personal preference. 920’s sw is simple, very easy to use, 3 mode of fan control for 920. The dashboard can display temp, speed etc. h100i corsair link sw is more complicated, but also well designed. For instance, fan control has more mode for link sw, and you can specify fan top speed, etc. A graphic computer case interior like dashboard you can position your monitor to right place.Wiring h100i is very neat, when 920 throw cables around and hard to orgainze. 920's stock fan's cord is very short, providing one more reason to get rid of its stock fan.For myself, jumping from 920 to h100i has some gain, like for interior space, better view on mob, etc. Peforman I suppose to see h100i much better, but indeed not much improvement. Downside is h100i is a lot louder, barely to take for my taste. But if you have no water cooling, I think h100i is a great choice. Check your case and your need, plan ahead.

Corsair Cooling Hydro Series H100I CPU Cooler System LGA1155 1156 1366 2011 AM2 AM3 FM1 & FM2
Cons:none i can find

Pros:very efficient. LOVE the control panel
Comment:
Just bought this today and am very impressed. Right out of the box it lowered cpu temp by 10 degrees.I'm running a core i7 3.3 gig at 31 degrees. The fans are a tad noisy at maximum speed as noted by others, but who runs the fasn at maximum 24/7? Overall, I'm very impressed. Well done as usual Corsair!

Corsair Cooling Hydro Series H100I CPU Cooler System LGA1155 1156 1366 2011 AM2 AM3 FM1 & FM2
Cons:Stock fans have some issues

Pros:Great tempsGreat looksVery quiet
Comment:
I got this cooler mostly for looks, but also for the overclocking potential. It has been great on both factors. It is very easy to set up.One problem i had at the start:There was a grinding noise coming from the cooler when running the stock fans attached to the pump's power. At first i thought it was the pump, but after some research i realized it was the fans. The easy fix was to run the fans off separate power or the mobo. That fixes it! I want to be able to control the fans' speed, so im ordering some different fans to try to run them off the pump, and see if it has the same issue, or if replacing the stock fans fixes it.Overall, it is a great cooler, but the fans arent so great. The pump is very quiet at 2k rpm, but the fans are quite noisy, even at very low speeds. New fans are recommended.

Cons:Takes a lot of space

Pros:Quiet (on low fan settings)Looks very good in a Red/Black design

This is a very good CPU cooler, even better than the original H100. The only con is that it takes a lot of space, especially in a push/pull configuration.

Corsair Cooling Hydro Series H100I CPU Cooler System LGA1155 1156 1366 2011 AM2 AM3 FM1 & FM2
Cons:Fitment and hardware...

Pros:Really keep the CPU temps down!
Comment:
I got the H100i with an MSI Z77 MPower, I5 3570k and the MSI Interceptor Series Ravager. It didnt fit out of the box with my mobo/case. The fan wouldnt clear some heatsink at the top of the mobo. I found a workarround... :DDuring the installation two screws got stripped when I tight them with a screwdriver... I was a little bit disapointed about the quality of the hardware...Im running my I5 3570k at 4.7ghz at 1.25V and max temp are arround 60C. :DSo far I'm really happy, but I guess this kit is not always bolt-on in 100% of the situation even if its suppose to be in theory.

Corsair Cooling Hydro Series H100I CPU Cooler System LGA1155 1156 1366 2011 AM2 AM3 FM1 & FM2
Cons:A bit loud at factory settings

Pros:Great coolingVery clean look
Comment:
Delivers great cooling performance for an all-in-one. The LED Corsair logo is completely customizable in terms of colour and lighting mode (on, off, pulse or temperature dependant). It's a little bit noisier than I thought it would be so I will probably be swapping out the included fans for others, also I haven't played with the fan speeds yet either. Still, overall a great product and definitely buy again and recommend.

Corsair Cooling Hydro Series H100I CPU Cooler System LGA1155 1156 1366 2011 AM2 AM3 FM1 & FM2
Cons:Stock fans a bit loud

Pros:Cools extremely well. No problems after firmware update
Comment:
For all out cooling this is a great choice. It is a bit loud at first. I had the fans plugged into the pump and used the corsair software, but couldn't get the cooling i wanted with acceptable noise levels. I also tried the fans on the motherboard, and fan controller, but ended up swapping them out. They are very high performance, and aren't super loud, but i want a near silent system and swapped them out for noctuas. The led on the pump looks amazing and can be set to change colors at different temps. very cool

Corsair Cooling Hydro Series H100I CPU Cooler System LGA1155 1156 1366 2011 AM2 AM3 FM1 & FM2
Cons:-A little noisy when fans are WFO

Pros:-Easy install-Ram accessibility-Good cooling-More room in case-Cooler temps-Corsair link included
Comment:
Bought this to replace my NH-D14 because I want better access to my ram. I normally do not need to get at my ram but of late I have been fiddling with it a lot. I now have good access with cooler temps. I was running about 70-74C folding with the Noctua and now have 64-67C with the Corsair. I find it a little noisier and am going to eventually put some GT's on to see if they can quiet things down a bit.
