Cons:- TERRIBLE packaging, caused half the fans to be damaged.- No included accessories, not a huge problem as I had screws.- Half died due to negligent manufacturer packaging.

I was able to price match this fan so it was good value for the money. It didn’t come with one of those led lights, but that was okay, I just needed something to help keep my system cool. I find the fan is nice and quiet. I have never heard of Cougar before but so far I’m quite pleased with the fan and will definitely buy again. |

NO LEDs, NO LEDs!!! It is so hard to find good fans at good prices without stupid LEDs. This fan does not have them, so I love these fans.I have two in my rig and would have bought four if I didn't need higher RPMs for exhaust fans. Really good price. |

I recently purchased several of the new fractal design cases, as much as I love their designs, their included fans just does not have the static pressure to push air through those front harddrive cages (I know they can be removed, but they were for a fileserver build). These are great fans when running at 7V, inaudible over the hum of the harddrives. A lot more pressure than the fractal design included fans (which I moved to exhaust). Only downside, irrelevant to the fans themselves was the fact that they came without any packaging, not even a bubble wrap, just sitting in the shipping box, these can be easily damaged, and I hope NCIX will at least include a DVD-drive type bubble wrap for it in the future. |

I purchased 4 of these to put in the top and front of a Corsair 350D, I already had 4 of these fans (120mm version) in another case and was extremely happy with them. When I picked them up I was surprised to find they are literally shipped in empty Ziploc bags with the NCIX tag stuck to the bag. One wasn't even in a bag, it actually had the NCIX tag stuck to the fan itself and was in the box.Normally I wouldn't mention shipping as it's irrelevant to the product, but the manufacturer packing is completely unacceptable. Unsurprisingly two of the fans had serious vibration problems. I ended up returning all of them and just getting Corsair AF Quiet Editions instead. The fans themselves are great, the manufacturer packaging used for the 4x120mm Cougar bundle is good and should have been used for these as well, it would have kept otherwise excellent fans from being ruined.
