You can under no circumstances go wrong with Crucial memory, unless it's not compatible with your machine. I upgraded my HP 710 laptop from a single 512 stick. My boot up time has been cut tremendously, and most of my programs run a lot more quickly. Works like a charm on my HP DV6000 series laptop. Runs smooth and a small quicker than the 1.256 gig (now up to two gig) I had prior to. Absolutely nothing Had replaced one of the 256 hynix (OEM) chips with a Trancend 1gig stick a handful of months back but they didn't have that in stock when I was prepared to acquire again. I went with this and replaced the other Hynix chip wit this and it works nicely with the Trancend to bring me to two gig. Very good stuff!

Purchased it for my HP Pavilion dv4000... worked like a charm. Up and running shortly after I popped it in, no complains. None Windows gets confused when you hop back up from sleep/hibernate and have much more RAM than you did. ^.^;;

I've purchased four sticks so far. 1 for a 20" Apple iMac Core Duo and the other for my 15" MacBook Pro and two for my MacBook. Both instances they've worked perfectly with no compatibility concerns, crashes, and so on. All my computers now have 2GB of RAM and have had no troubles at all. None, it works fantastic in all my Apple computers, and has worked in all the PCs I've installed it in. If you're searching for RAM for an Apple Mac (MB, MBP, iMac, MacMini) I highly suggest this. If you're running Parallels, you want 2GB RAM minimum. Anything runs smoother and as most of us know RAM is the cheapest, easiest way to get the most efficiency from any computer.

Its Critical, so I didnt even question the good quality or compatability of this item. Worked out of the box in a Dell Latitude 120L. none Initial, the original order I have created with Newegg was lost by UPS. They produced fantastic on it, and issued a replacement. Unfortunatly, they were out of stock, so they had to issue a refund. I ended up paying more for this because they cant preserve track of inventory. Nonetheless, ultimately, Newegg came out on leading.

This memory is a lot more affordable than that identified at the Dell web page. The memory created a marked improvement over stock, getting that the video is "shared" memory. None Worked like a charm in a Dell Inspiron 1501/AMD.

Quite cheap. None really. Added 1 to a Dell Inspiron B130 and a Dell Inspirion 1501. In the 1501, it was required to switch the current memory module to the empty slot.

This was a excellent deal for RAM This RAM was not compatible with my 15" Powerbook G4 1.67Ghz (last update before Intel Macs). I installed the RAM and when trying to boot up, I just got three beeps. From the Apple support web-site, this indicates that the RAM was either faulty or not compatible. This was my second try with this RAM, so I'm thinking it just isn't compatible. The RMA approach is fairly effortless and NewEgg was happy to give me a refund as well as pay for the return shipping the second time about.

I just got this in the mail like yesterday and I tell you, what a chip. Its very great for its price tag. I am a really pleased man this item tripled my efficiency and looking forward for yet another 1. (See other thoughts) I had a Dell latitude D610 operating on two 256mb,.. If you put 1gb in their you'll have to take out both 256's.

order two 1 Gig modules for my Dell 9300 and every thing has been running great. I ditched the paging file and it appears considerably greater. Was operating 1 Gig with paging file. Noticeable distinction and for the $$ can't beat it. None From Order to door in two days.

Outstanding cost. Purchased two of these for every single 1 of my DELL computers. They perform fantastically. Extremely uncomplicated installation. Comments: I just installed 2 gigs of this ram in my new PowerBook last night. The ram was recognized the initial time. I opened about 20 Firefox windows, 10 Safari windows, all of the Microsoft Workplace applications, Maple 10, and all of the iLife applications I could come across. Even with all of the applications running at as soon as, it ran surprisingly nicely. Then I did the Apple extended hardware test, and it identified no errors. I have yet to play any games, but so far it runs exceptional, and the ram seems to be perfectly compatible.
