It operates in my Santa Rosa primarily based HP dv6700t CTO laptop. I went from two GB and maxed it out at 4 GB with this dual channel kit. None This memory is manufactured by Micron and is so identified by SPD. The timings and voltage had been an precise match for the stock memory.

It was my very first time upgrading my personal RAM and yes, it was truly quick, plug and play... I had no challenge with it... works as it really should. MacBook 3,1 can only use 3GB, but nonetheless capable to recognize 4GB, I made use of this pair rather than getting 1GB + 2GB. I didn't have any situation afterwards, was able to use Aperture and Final Reduce Express with ease compared to the actually sluggish 2GB I started with. I'm a satisfied camper. can't feel of any at the moment... will get back once I have a single. If you don't hear from me at all? Excellent afternoon, fine evening and High quality Evening! I perform as an RN (and not in any tech-field job) and replacing and chosing my personal hardware has been a breeze, once more it doesn't take a genius to do so...

Comment:
Purchased this for the duration of Black Friday to replace two unmatched DDR2 SO-DIMMs (the original 1 GB Samsung and a 1 GB Corsair Worth that I added final spring). The memory passed many consecutive runs of memtest, and the laptop (a Lenovo ThinkPad R61i purchased from Newegg in 2008) under Windows XP had an added spring and a zip to it. I couldn't be happier...properly, I could upgrade to a 64-bit version of Windows that could see all 4 GB (the hardware can see all of it, but 32-bit Windows XP) but I don't particularly really feel the need to do so correct now. None that I can consider of.No heat spreaders (but who cares). Generally obtain excellent memory. We use a mixture of Corsair XMS, Kingston HyperX, Patriot, and Critical/Micron in my family members, nearly all of it purchased proper right here on Newegg.

N/A N/A Possible buyers deserve to know that Newegg's value for this item exceeds that of the distributor's net store, which also throws in totally free shipping. Not a big difference, but we count on much better from Newegg.

Functions just fine in my HP nc6400 notebook operating Windows 7 Pro 32 Bit. Windows reports 4GB installed with 3.37 GB usable.Laptop seems to run more rapidly immediately after upgrading from two GB to 4 GB of RAM. The important memory replaced the factory HP Samsung RAM. I was very happy to be able to get this before the value went up just following I ordered it. I got it for ๣.99 and cost-free Egg Saver shipping on 1ቫቦ, and now I seen it is ๭.99 with ŭ.99 typical shipping. New Egg is wonderful! All of my purchases with them have been a good experience. If I have been to have purchased the memory for this laptop from the Crucial web page, I would have had to pay 贕.00 for it, so I saved ั.00. Crucial tends to make some quality memory. Putting in it in the nc6400 was somewhat easy. As other reviewers have written, taking the memory out of its package devoid of damaging it was difficult to say the least! It took considerably a lot more time to get it out of the packaging then it did to set up it. Just be patient and cautious. I employed a single edge razor blade to open the packaging and then type of pushed down on the plastic surrounding the chips to release them from its hold.

Acer Aspire 4530 recognized all four gigs, match for stock Samsung RAM, or at least close adequate. vid RAM supposed to be dedicated, was hoping that I would get 3.25 avail in XP even though still being capable to use max RAM for vid, seems the MB allocates the initial 256 to vid, then the OS gets the rest, kinda backward to my way of considering. XP only seeing 3, with 2.75 usable. Replaced the second stick with the 1 g it cam with so as to not waste the additional space, place the other in my fiancee's Dell Latitude D530, also a near perfect match to ProMOS stick, add to onboard 512 for two.five usable on hers. As well negative her video is lacking :)Time will inform for longevity, but I have no doubts about Critical's excellent and service.

Installed this kit into a 15" two.4gHz Macbook Pro 񢉗), moving from the factory 2GB to the maximum for this series of MBP of 4GB. The install was easy (order kit, greet UPS at the door, open packaging, pull the battery, eliminate three 00 Phillips screws, swap SODIMMs, place it back with each other, drink coffee, watch the blinkin' lights). The method recognized the memory devoid of hesitation, as it should be and as I hoped for. Running SPSS 17 stats application (Spectra module) appeared faster, particularly the load time, though I didn't believe to time the earlier operations, and can't give solid numbers. Due to the fact that is a primary application for this specific system, I applied it as an informal benchmark. Your mileage may possibly differ. Anyway, for the low price and pleasantly simple process involved in the upgrade, this upgrade appears worth it. Only con: That I didn't do this a few months ago, as this turned out to be pretty effortless.

Affordable, fast, and compatible. Superb functionality so far, following a month of use. The RAM was surprisingly challenging to get rid of from the actual packaging. I was somewhat worried I was going to damage the chips in an effort to free them from the sturdily-constructed (and tough to cut) plastic packaging. I installed 4GB Ɠ.8GiB, but who's counting?) of this RAM into my Dell Inspiron 1520 notebook running Ubuntu Linux, and it has performed excellently. I notice a considerable improvement in my ability to multitask and run computationally-intensive computer software. This item is extremely advised. No difficulties to-date.

Functions perfectly on my MB139LL/A; no issues noticed yet. Significantly much less high priced than the Mac-precise parts from other locations. This Mac mini can only use three GB of the four GB; I got the matched pair for maximum overall performance. But that's not the fault of the memory.
