Shipped speedily and arrived in good condition. When installed the pair, brand new VAIO would not boot up. Uninstalled and installed 1 module at a time and turned out 1 module was defective. Returned the item and Newegg.com is in the process of shipping the new one out but will see if those will work. From what I see here on the evaluation, I type of have my doubts as there appears to be a pattern creating with this item, which has been rock solid and loved by several techies. Kind of shame to see how much of damages couple of batches of defective/bad items can potentially ruin the brand..

Replaced stock Lenovo RAM (PC5300) with this.. WOW what a distinction in efficiency!! Faster boot, quicker application loading times and Photoshop to boot. None it's upgrade RAM Really should have upgraded my Lenovo X61s sooner...SSD is subsequent.

Works terrific. I put this in my 24" iMac 2.8GHz that came with 2GB from apple. My iMac is a great deal snappier with 4GB installed. None Apple employed CAS 6 ram, and so are these. No wonder why they function so well.

Good memory for a great price. solid construction. You do pay for the brand (Crucial) but they have in no way served me wrong and have generally supplied a reliable memory dimm. I put this into a macbook (MC240LL-A) for a max RAM upgrade, and accompanied it with the Western Digital WD2500BEKT HDD. The macbook is far superior than it ever was. none. I have had good satisfaction with Crucial's memory, they always makes a good quality product.

Decent product no problems so far... I did recieve and expected an improvement. I doubled my memory from 2 to 4 gigs and I am able to surf easier and run video while surfing the net. I installed this in my recently purchased compaq, single core, 250 gig 7200 rpm hd, 2 gigs of ram. It helped and the system memory is maxed out.

Purchased 4 Gb memory for my Dell XPS M1210 notebook as an upgrade to the original 1Gb installed at the factory. The installation was simple (using instructions from Dell on getting to the memory dock under the keyboard). There were no problems on the install and while the whole 4 Gb is not recognized by the computer (only 3.24 Gb), it still is a great improvement. From research I had done prior to the install, I was aware that I would only get the 3.24Gb. Seems to be a good product and no problems so far.

I recieved the Memory. Unscrewed the panel, installed the DIMMs, and POWWWW! An amazing difference moving up to 4GB of RAM from 3GB. I was going to purchase a new laptop but have no desire to now. I run Vista and music software and the extra 1GB of ram was what I was missing!

My first memory purchase was in the early 80's. A four meg simm cost $130.00. So to get Four gigabytes for $57 plus shipping is phenominal. The memory was easily installed in my Dell and has performed without problems.

I WAS AT BEST BUY LOOKING TO UPGRADE THE RAM ON MY NEW TOSHIBA LAPTOP AND WHAT THEY TOLD ME I NEEDED WAS 2 - 2 GIG CARDS THAT EACH COST $75. IT WAS GOING TO COST ME $150. I WENT ON-LINE AN FOUND THIS RAM FOR LESS THAN HALF THE PRICE.
