Just plug it in and it works. No setup, no hassle. 1 Gbps makes Microsoft Remote Desktop work great. You can use this instead of a KVM switch. With 1 Gbps hardwired connections, you can't tell that you're not sitting on the other computer itself.

The switch works right our of the box. Must have switch if you are adding network hard drives and network Printers. Is Compatible with my Linksys Wireless router.

As usual Tiger delivered the switch the next day! Plugged it in to my Dlink gigabit router and was up and running in about one minute! Connected a couple of new Cables to Go cat6 cables from Tiger and had the computer and Xbox 360 going in about another two minutes. It's been running for a couple of weeks now, non managed and untouched. No problems, a very simple solution to a full router.

I have purchased 2 of these. One last year and one this year. Both are working perfectly without one single problem. At the price of $23.99, I don't think you can find another other products that can beat this. Not even those unknown brand. Most brand name ones cost almost double.

Hey i got this to speed up my net and Also got Cat6 wires as well and my internet speed is at 1 gb sweet huh ,ya I like it, so a must for all gamers

I just plugged it in and connected it to my gigabit router and gigabit network storage. It works perfectly. I can copy large folders of photos in a snap!

Best product for expanding ethernet once you have used all the ports on your router. Had cat-6 ran to my son's room but had his xbox and a pc. Didn't want to run another cable 90 feet plus use last port on my router. Now both are hooked up, just plug in and go. I can easily connect my daughter's room which is next to his if she get a pc or game console. Great product. Good quality.

I've been using this for over 3 months. Setup has been a snap, just plug in the cables and leave it. The speed is excellent.

Bought to upgrade my network, easy to install, no problems at this time and most importantly I'm at full 1GB at both computers and my laptop works with the CAT6a category cable.

I buyed one of these like 2 months ago. It is working perfectly. You juste have to plug the power on it and it start working. It also support cat6 cable which is the next generation of ethernet cable. Now I juste need to change my cat5e cable at my home. --For Will : You just can't go 1000MB/sec. The maximum theoric speed you can reach is 100MB/sec. And this is in optimal condition. Cat6 calbe support 1Gbps so it is theoricly 100MBps. Thats it.

Got two of them from Tiger. Running flawlessly for two months already. No installation needed - just plug and play. The highest speed I got is about 300Mbps while copying big files - not sure how to reach the 1000M full speed. But this is already much faster than the 100Mbps switches. Now all those old 100Mbps switches are in the closet. Excellent product.

If your modem is already a router like my ''Westell 6100'' you do not need a network router all you need is a simple switch-like this one. A second router may cause slowdowns and conflicts. This is one of the easiest to install devices I have ever set up; there is not even a driver to install. It set-up easily and worked perfectly and is very fast. Two thumbs up. P.S. Make sure you have enough cat5 or 6 cables.
