Cons:Doesn't pass through special keys (multimedia controls etc) of the keyboard.Doesn't like wireless keyboard/mouse combos, keyboard works but mouse doesn't.
Pros:Can keep audio on one computer when switching to the other.Cables are a good length. Comment:
At first this seemed like a really nice KVM. The fact I could listen to the audio from one computer while on the other was nice. However I discovered that it doesn't allow the use of any of the special keys such as volume control or the application hotkeys. Also when I tried to use a wireless keyboard/mouse combo with it the mouse would not work.If those things don't affect you then this is a good KVM, but if you like controlling the volume with the keyboard or have a keyboard/mouse combo that only uses one USB port then stay clear of this product. |

Cons:Not recommended with the Logitech Lx8 Wireless mouse as there may be problem with the signal.
Pros:Allow to work on 2 computers at same time without changing the monitor/keyboard/mouse, fast and safe switch between computers. Allow to work faster on different computer. Comment:
In my work I have to work on my main computer and sometime I need to configure my Linux server (yes this work well with Linux) so I just switch computer and my second monitor switch to my Linux Server.If you happen to work on multiple computer or to debug computer this is really usefull, just for working on one computer while formatting another is worth it. |

Excellent kvm switch, use it everyday to switch from my notebook to my pc, the best feature is its nice and compact to fit anywhere. |
This kvm works great, I use it to monitor my freenas server so I just need to switch over to it every now and then. It would be nice if it had dvi cables but fro the price the cables would probably double the cost of the switch. I find it a little awkward to find a place to put the switch and still access the button, it would sit better if all the cables on the same side of the box.
