Not Directx 9 or 10 Compatible
Comment:
Upgraded an older system to Vista, and WOW and Windows Movie Maker would no longer run on old video card that had only 8 MB of video ram. So, I went to this retailer to try and find an inexpensive card that had at least 64 MB thinking that was the problem. Got this one and the memory error was gone, but got new error because it is not DirectX 9 or 10 compatible. I'm sure it's a good card for older OS's. Seems like a feature that should be mentioned in the specs.

Great for older PC's needing dual monitors
Comment:
I have been using this as a very inexpensive way to provide dual monitor setups for older PC's with 200 watt (ish) PSU's. Perfect and great value.

Easy Install
Comment:
This retailer has always been prompt with their service. I have an old Compaq computer that needed a few upgrades. As I can't upgrade the CPU, I did upgrade the PSU and heatsink. I purchased the graphic hoping it would make the computer perform better. It did. I would recommend this product. However, I just recently upgraded to 512MB graphics card which I found out my computer could take. The 64MB graphic card performed brillantly in its short life in my computer.

Doesn't work
Comment:
bought this for an old dell machine to use with s-video on a tv. Does not come with drivers for any windows past 2000, manufacturer website is terrible. S video never worked. Would not reccomend buying.

Great product for the features
Comment:
Dropped this in an old Dell 2400 desktop as an upgrade. Works like a gem. Nothing fancy but makes things easier to connect a flat screen. If your into graphics this is not the card for you. Keep shopping. Great product for the money.

Great for older systems
Comment:
Bought the card to use its s-video out. Setup a media center PC using old eMachine my wife didn't need anymore. Video works great, and with a Sabrent usb sound card was able make a very inexpensive media system. Very cool.

I bought this card to upgrade a on board graphics chip in an HP computer and could not be happier! I would buy this again for a legacy computer.

It works
Comment:
It took a while to get the card working. I downloaded the upgraded driver and I had to start it in VGA mode to set it up, before switching to my digital cable. Always a scary thing changing a video card. Least expensive card I could find that had a DVI cable outlet and fit the PCI slot.

Diablotek Radeon 7500 Video Card - 64MB DDR, PCI, DVI, VGA, Video Card
Comment:
My sister-in-law bought an educational video program that needed a minimum of 64MB of video to operate. I installed this card, ran the install disk that came with it and ran the new program. Video was sharp, responsive and the granddaughter was amazed. Mission accomplished.

Diablotek Radeon 7500 Video Card - 64MB DDR, PCI, DVI, VGA, Video Card

Fantastic Card for legacy computers. Obviously - you need to download new drivers(do NOT use CD - do NOT use ATI drivers) - use V75_90XP2k.exe from Diablotek . Everything works flawlessly - exactly as advertised. I have used it both to CLONE 2 monitors and to use 2 monitors with different content. PERFECT!

Diablotek Radeon 7500 Video Card - 64MB DDR, PCI, DVI, VGA, Video Card
Comment:
I bought this card to use it for it's TV-out ability. I had a entertainment PC to use as a media center and needed a simple video card to do the trick. It's drivers barely worked. The NTSC tv. I wouldn't recommend it as a TV-out. It seems to play older game alright however, like Warcraft 3.

Diablotek Radeon 7500 Video Card - 64MB DDR, PCI, DVI, VGA, Video Card
Comment:
This video card works great! Now I even have dual monitor capabilities. My old Nvidia AGP 4x card died and it was hard to find an AGP that would work with this old SOYO motherboard (2002 vintage), so I took a chance with this one, and am very happy with it. The drivers on the included CD did not work with XP-PRO, but I downloaded the latest from their website. Performance with the PCI card is not as good as the AGP (I don't have PCI express) scrolling is not as smooth. I don't have any real extreme graphic games, but the SIMMs works great. Thanks TigerDirect, your delivery times are so fast. I couldn't have gotten it faster if I drove over to the store and picked it up.

Diablotek Radeon 7500 Video Card - 64MB DDR, PCI, DVI, VGA, Video Card
Comment:
I returned this product because I wanted the Radeon 9000 instead, but this is a good video card if you only have a pci slot. Also it will take a good overclocking. I took it from 167 mhz core and 133 mhz ram to 229 mhz core and 167 mhz ram. I gave it a 4 out of 5 for features because it is only Direct X 7 compatable. If you want a 2000ish gaming system on an old computer, this is the card for you. P.S.: Tiger Direct was great on the return, their customer service is second to none.

Diablotek Radeon 7500 Video Card - 64MB DDR, PCI, DVI, VGA, Video Card
Comment:
This is a good card I bought this to make a old Super socket 7 computer into a 2000ish gaming machine...This does not support shader 1.0 or 1.1 and it is not a direcx 8 card...however it is directx 8 compatible and will play most directx 8 games without the shadows and shine in newer cards (9000 and above)but anyway about the preformance I can play halo on a K6-III ,128mb of ram ,and this card and i get 15+ frames per second which is good considering halo was made for the pentium 3 and geforce 3. :D im happy thank you tigerdirect (which is better than newegg by a long shot)

Diablotek Radeon 7500 Video Card - 64MB DDR, PCI, DVI, VGA, Video Card
Comment:
I bought this card to use it for it's TV-out ability on linux (for use with freevo). The VGA and DVI outputs work perfectly using the free/open-source radeon driver. Sadly the TV-out was hard to get working, you need to use the latest radeon driver from the Xorg git repo. There's a bunch of information on how to get it working in this thread: http://lists.freedesktop.org/archives/xorg/2007-October/029167.html
