I have five in one machine hooked up to a Lamptron FC2. I can get them absolutely silent, and they still move a bit of air, or put them on full blast, and it keeps everything cool.I wouldn't advocate these for htpc builds unless you undervolt them ƕ or 7v) but for a massive rig like I have, they work wonderful.

It's excellent; moves a lot of air, very quiet. I believe the CFM and dBA ratings. Ok, this is subjective but they are a small pricey. Their next closest model is also really quiet at 30% lower CFM and about half the cost. If the price was a small lower this style would be my only choice for enclosure cooling. But in all fairness, I have observed nothing that compares with these for CFM to dBA ratio. I am working with these 120mm fans to exhaust an entertainment console with property-spun thermostats. They run perfectly. For anything that doesn't call for the added CFM their subsequent model is a good selection too.
