Great PCI Video card for a Small Form Factor PC
Comment:
I needed a card to fit a PCI slot and small form factor PC that could still supply great video. This EVGA GeForce 9400 GT card with 1 GB fits the bill. It played Wolfenstein 2009, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Shadows of Chernobyl, and Turok without issues. Great card. Only problem I had was connecting to the analog port but the DVI port hooked up fine to the 20 inch Flat Screen Monitor DVI port without problems.

Minor Issue that was easily resolved.
Comment:
When installing this card, I was having an issue with the driver that was on the disk provided. This was resolved though by going to NVidia's website and getting the latest drivers for the model. I installed it on a Dell Dimension 3000 that was running Windows XP with SP3. I later upgraded to Windows 7 and it works great on both operating systems. I don't remember what the Windows Experience Index was for the Graphics and Gaming Graphics categories but it was at least around 5 I believe.

Best Product
Comment:
I installed it in my Dell Dimension 3000, windows XP, pentium 4 (3.0 ghz), with 1.2gb of RAM memory. Didn't have any problems installing it and it worked fine, on SOME games. on some of the other games i have it worked really well, like, great FPS and all, but on another one there's pretty much no difference between my GeForce FX5500 and this one. After i updated up to the latest drivers, more games had a boost to Frames per second. I recommend it and i didn't need to do an upgrade to the power supply.

Did everything I was hopping it would do.
Comment:
I upgraded my old Pentium 4 to Win7. However, my Nvidia 6200 didnt seem to work to well with more complicated 3D applications. It was the bare minimum, but Im glad i had an excuse to get something better. This GPU is excellent for those who are stuck with PCI ports. Works very well with Win 7, even if its an older computer, and it shot my overall rating from a 1.0 to a 3.9. Very satisfied, and can now play games well beyond lowest detail. True it may be time to update the old comp, but as far as the value, and how it helped with my issue, I would recommend this to anyone who isnt quite ready for a new comp. However, it will require you to get a more powerful power supply. A 500w power supply will give this card all the power it needs. Just make sure it runs at 18A at 350w and it should do you ok.

GREAT CARD BUT READ ON!!
Comment:
THIS IS A GREAT CARD--HOWEVER I WAS UNABLE TO USE IT BECAUSE OF THE AUDIO CONFLICT. THE CARD REQUIRES A DIGITAL AUDIO SIGNAL FROM THE MOTHER BOARD OR THERE WILL BE NO AUDIO THRU THE DVI CONECTOR AND YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO USE THE ANALOG SIGNAL BECAUSE THE BOARD WILL DEFAULT TO THE DIG SIGNAL BEING SENT THRU THE HDMI CONECTOR EVEN IF THERE IS NONE!! SADLY THIS FACT WAS NOT DISCLOSED IN THE AD FOR THIS PRODUCT!

Was not impressed
Comment:
i got this card to replace my old 64mb card, after installing and getting it set up i fired up my 8 year old game, i was sad to say it preformed WORSE than my older card. after 6 houres of tweeaking settings i got it looking like my old card with about 2X more tearing, i fired us some other games and while the graphics looked nice the games were unplayable, sad to say i returned the card.

Excellent Older Card
Comment:
Regardless of dated technology this video card greatly improved the performance of my older PC. Also, the really good price made this upgrade worthwhile.
