Great Buy
Comment:
I bought one of these cards for my computer and was so pleased that I recommended it to a friend. I bought and installed it into his pc and he is equally pleased. Great card for the price. Runs everything I want/need it to without any problems. I would highly recommend this to any gamer.

Great Card
Comment:
I have had this card installed for a few weeks now and have been able to play Assassins Creed and Fall Out 3 Med to Med High settings and this card handles it just fine. This is not for the hard core gamers though. OH and it plays Sims3 without any sort of problem as well. Great card for the price would recommend to anyone that wants a mid grade gaming card.

Wish I would have done the research
Comment:
I got this vid card because of the 1gb vid ram. My ultimate goal was to connect to HDTV. It works, but it is not really a TV viewing vid card. I am currently saving for a better vid card that supports 1080 and HDCP compliant. It works fine as a basic vid card. It does some weird things if I leave my TV and monitor plugged in (so I unplug my TV connection unless I am going to use it which sometimes requires a system restart). I don't know if this is a problem with the vid card or something else. I am fairly competent with computer hardware, but I must admit my weakness is understanding vid cards as I am not a gamer and I just recently started getting into watching TV from my computer.

Lacks Performance for Playback of DVD Movies
Comment:
I have this card in both PCI and PCIe to run a three monitor setup. I immediately noticed that DVD playback wouldn't function smoothly when at full screen - otherwise it is fine. I believe the PCI slot puts that card in control over the PCIe card - so some of the performance issues may rest with that fact - I'm no expert about bus systems, I just read it somewhere. Otherwise my three monitor set-up is rock solid with these cards- and my productivity has sky-rocketed. I can't complain too much about the performance issues (some of my graphics programs Adobe/CAD-CAM/etc. do appear to run slightly slower - the cursor moves ahead of the action waiting for the screen to catch-up) for the price I paid. I know enough that If I wanted to get top performance I would need to spend significantly more. The cards are a fair deal for the price. Oh, and while I'm at it - this site is as always top notch.

Good Card for the Price!
Comment:
This is a very good card. Most of my games run alot better than with a built in ATI card. The Graphics with Dual DVI and Dual Monitors make it worth it too! One game that is very intense, slowed up twice, but it ran very well otherwise. For the price, you can't beat it!

Great Video Card
Comment:
I recently received a Windows game, The Witcher, as a gift and was unable to play it on my system due to sluggish performance. Even using the lowest quality settings, the video was choppy to the point of being unplayable. After installing this video card, the game ran brilliantly. I was able to crank the settings up the highest quality and it still ran beautifully. With regard to Vista's Windows Experience Index, my score for Gaming Graphics moved from a 3.4 to a 5.2. The software installed without a problem (I updated it from the web) and doesn't have much overhead. The card runs my dual 21 inch monitors without a problem. I am highly satisfied with this card. Great value, great performance. I would definitely buy this card again.

Solid, inexpensive card
Comment:
The 9400GT was easy to set up on my system (XFX 750a SLI/AMD 64X2 5200/Vista Ultimate 32) and the driver updates were quick and painless. I use the vid card to run 1 LCD monitor + 1 LCD HDTV and both look great. Games with modest requirements like GW or WoW look smooth and NetFlix streamed to the HDTV looks amazing. The fan is a little loud. Don't be fooled by the SLI pins on this card--there's no SLI support (maybe it uses the same board as 9500GT?). Somehow this little guy improved my Vista score from 4.6 to 5.0 when it replaced a dead ATI Radeon X1600 Pro from about 2006. If I had to buy again, I'd probably get the 9500GT as the price is only about $10 more. All in all a good card.

Great Value
Comment:
Obviously this product is missing some of the performance of the high end units but for the price I dont see how anyone can pass this unit up. This doubled my frame rate in WoW to 50 fps consistently and does not seem to have a problem overheating. This should be the first upgrade to anybody looking to game on a computer, cheap and easier to install than ram.

Good card for the money.
Comment:
My only compalint is that when using a DVI to HDMI connector from my HTPC to my TV, this card makes the tv think it is sending an audio signal too and makes the tv speakers cut off. I replaced a 512mb ATI card with this and the ATI card did not do this. EVGA customer support confirmed this issue with their cards.

New Build
Comment:
Just got this card for a new build. Fired right up, then started to lag. System check shows card is working properly, but I installed it with the new Windows 7. Drivers may not work with 7, make sure you use Vista. Found missing and incomplete updates from mobo supplier and linkysys wireless.

I initially had some trouble getting this video card working in my system. But one quick call the EVGA's technical support and I was in business. The card is amazing. I am running two 22" digital monitors at full resolution. I can play games at top resolutions without any delay. Definitely recommended.

Quality Product, Excellent Price
Comment:
I was having problems with my on-board graphics dual monitor support. I am not a 'gamer', I don't regularly use graphics intensive apps, and I don't have unlimited disposable funds. I sought an economical replacement graphics card, that provided dual DVI support. This board seemed to provide decent bang for your bucks. So far, it has met all of my expectations. I just wish these graphics companies, wouldn't load up your system with a bunch of started tasks. Do I really need the Nvidia display control center running in the background constantly? Once I've set my resolution and monitor setup, I don't need it anymore, and I'll start it if I do. Yes, it's easy enough to stop them from loading at startup, it's just annoying that they don't at least give me the option.
